    Quotes from another forum:

“It is not correct to say that turbulence in DCS works only with wind. Yes, setting the wind speed sets a small amount of turbulence that allows to fly in relatively comfort conditions. But the turbulence itself can be set independently. In this case plane acceleration can jump very severe.

For example, if the dispersion of g-load is 0.3 and more, pilots describe it as "very strong", so it's possible in DCS have the same dispersion, especially at lower altitudes, because the size of turbulence (correlation range) increases with altitude that leads to decreasing "bumps".

If you want to encounter turbulence at higher altitudes you need to set wind speed in the layers quite different (speed and/or direction).
These are a sample how DCS turbulence works, and what is correlation length or range. Please keep in mind, that the turbulence in DCS is not a function of time affecting a plane, it is SPATIAL function that means that the planes flying in close formation will be affected by the similar (correlated) vectors (but not identical) depending on the correlation length.
And, by the way, it's not static - hovering helicopter will be bumping as well.”

Hi, wanted to give some more info that i discovered on this. Turns out that the ground outputs are there, but scaled so small that it seems like it does not move. On larger bumps it moves a tiny bit. And, another way to "bring it back to life" is to just click on a pose filter dropdown, and it instantly corrects itself.

attaching my mover file in case its specific to it. 'MAIN all 6 DoF' is the one where i could click a filter to re-enable. on first load it's fine, just sometimes after landing from air to ground is when it gets weird. i'm also not sure if bouncing when landing affects it.

    thanks for looking!

    Hello Pedro,
Is there a way to synchronize the Mover's actuators speed with the actual machine's actuators? Because when the machine reaches the same position as Mover, since my motion platform is really fast, I get a traumatic shock and result a bit dangerous, unless I reduce the platform performances butt would be a pity.

    Thank you

    Hello ,
Unfortunately DCS game does 't give this algorithm (wind speed)!!!
I would like to have some turbulence like when I receive a bomb under the plane.:thumbs

Plz. Check you should have 4 wind layers and turbulence setting in mission editor in DCS

currently I am trying to setup PT Mover with star wars squadrons. I have code that makes the rig surge when I fire the laser, but it only surges once, I want to change the code to make it keep surging while I hold down the trigger.

Hate adding questions on top of question in here but I searched and didn't see anything develop.

Has anybody been able to get game telemetry in the form of CSV or anything we could stick in excel for instance?
    Thanks!

Do you have any info on the telemetry?
I searched but did not found. From what i remember only the pro version has telemetry and its expensive and you need a license to add it to the software

    Ok, was looking at it.
For that Mover version, I only see NOISE as a solution.
There you can define the frequency of the noise change.
The problem is that noise is between 0 and the value you define and being noise it can be near zero sometimes.
    Please try that.

NOTE: I told you I would look at it later because I did not have access to the old Mover at the time to see your setup...

Oh, you want the data after filtering.
What Mover gives you right now is the possibility to record a source and replay that source.
If you are using the same setup, results are the same.
What you could do is output the desired to a MMF and convert that to CSV....
hmmm you are giving me ideas, I can add a CSV output in the next release.
Thinking of it, it might be realy easy... I can export just to a text file with delimiters...

Not to make more work, :p but can you add exporting to https://teleplot.fr/ possible? It would be a similar interface for selecting output as the graphic visualizer, just with the teleplot port number.

It is time for a Patreon page for FlyPT! I feel that most of us can give up a couple pints a month to support further development.
