You can click the 'Plugin Manager' button at the bottom right of the main screen.

And the plugin can be found in the SimTools : PC repo (if your not already there)
    Take care,

Since they're fixing and adding airplane plugins now, maybe they could add a GTA5 plugin for ST3?

Thanks for your help. Indeed, I downloaded the plugin on the simtools page, but as for mf2020, I have no value in the plugin. it's the only game that makes me this phenomenon. Do you have any ideas why?

I'm running simtools v3. if I don't say error, I don't have add/remove module or simconnect. Is this only on simtools v2?

I'm probably doing something wrong, but with MSFS 2020, 2024, and DCS, ST3 constantly "forgets" my min/max tuning settings. I do save them every time with in min/max as well as save the profile after I'm done tuning. What am I missing?

    Hi @Moe Colontonio,
You should be able to select the profile you want and then change a max/min number for, change a value, and then click save in the upper right (all the changed number in blue should clear). Know that for flight games, there is sometime two sets of max/min numbers. You should see a button that is either a cloud or a runway image, that is for in air vs on the ground in the upper left of the max/min page.

    Hi Peeps,
Using Generic 3D Rotating for a 6DOF Stewart platform, and trying to enter crank angles in the 'Sim Config' window, but can't quite work out what the values should be. The image says vertical angle but is drawn on the XY plane!

I'm assuming that this is the angle of the crank (hence the name), but from what reference?

Can I use the standard method of looking end on at the shaft and 0 degrees is at the 3 o'clock position, or have I missed something?

BTW, v3 is looking, and feeling nice so far.

OK, no longer a problem, the virtual hexapod pluggin sorted my query. What a great, and handy tool.

On Axis configuration panel (same window) what does 'middle' refer to?

I just installed Simtools 3 and can't get any motion data from any software. Tried 3 different games (RSFRBR, RF2, and Dirt Rally 2). I've been using Simtools 2 for over five years, but can't seem to figure out what is wrong with this new version.

    Things I've done/tried:
    • Activated my license
    • Uninstall and reinstall Simtools
    • Run Simtools as an admin
    • Create motion profiles for all games
    • Uninstall and reinstall game plugins
    • Drag and drop the game .exe files onto the game images in the library
    • For RBR, tried ports 6776,6777,4123,4124
    • For RF2, made sure that the simtools in-game plugin is on and ran the runtimes
    • For DR2, made sure to do a race before installing the plugin

UPDATE: It all just for some reason works now for all 3 games. I didn't change anything. That's some strange behavior. I was successful with RBR first, then RF2, and then DR2. I had started DR2 many times while trying to figure it out and this most recent time, windows prompted me asking to let DR2 use public/private network access (probably for the UDP relay). That had never popped up before.

Have you created motion profiles for each of the games?

Can you please post pictures of all of your settings.

I just edited my post with an update. I have no clue why it has started working now. I left for about 30 minutes and when I came back, it all just worked.

    Hi everyone.
I have ST v3 running on my pc (win 10) and it sends test axis data via usb to my Arduino 2 dof motion platform with no issues. I am using the basic 2d motion profile and that also works but, like others on this thread, I cannot get the DCS profile to work. There is no telemetry data being transferred from DCS to Sim Tools.
I have loaded, unloaded, installed, removed, run the sim, reinstalled, rebooted etc... etc...
Has ANYONE been able to get DCS to work with V3 of Sim Tools?
If so, please share the magic sequence you used to make that happen.
    Please and thank you.
    Doug

    A bit more information...
The sim tools install found and modified the DCS scripts adding Export.lua which is Version 1.0 and establishes an export socket at 127.0.0.1:41230 and appears to forward all the information needed.
I pinged 127.0.0.1 and it exists as a local server don't know about port 41230, is there a tool to access this in native format?
I have tried assigning pitch, roll and pitch rate and roll rate to the axis within the 2d motion plugin but regardless there is no data shown as being input from DCS when running or other wise.
Obviously I have updated, re-installed, rebooted etc... with no change.
Is version 1.0 of the export.lua the current version? is there another one to try?
Has the DCS game profile worked for anyone in V3?
    Thanks
    Doug

Aaaaah... <sound of open palm striking forehead>:) Occam's Razor
I assumed that if Sim Tools and DCS were running concurrently then ST would find the server and read the UPD automatically, maybe it does this for some games but not for DCS.
The DCS .exe needs to be installed in the DCS profile, at least it does for V1.0. Once I did that and started DCS from within Sim Tools the telemetry data appeared in the motion profile and I was able to see the result in the actual motion platform.
Upwards and on wards! Now the fun of tweaking the sim motion so it fools my vestibular system without messing with my digestion too badly.
No amount of playing with settings was going to fix this but I did end up understanding exactly what the game profiles do for a living.

Great job working through that, and reminding others :thumbs

SimTools is meant to be incredibly flexible, but that does mean it has a number of game specific idiosyncrasies. The SimTools devs are trying to make those more intuitive in v3, so hopefully your experience feeds back and can get picked up for clearer prompts relating to DCS.
