    I'm not sure why you do not have any max/min settings, but you will need some for the plugin to work.
    Here are some settings to get you started.
    upload_2024-12-17_15-53-14.png

    Be sure to click the cloud button shown above, and add the same settings for the runway values. And once working, you can adjust as needed.
    Take care,

    DCS HEAVE AND PITCH ANOMOLY

    I have transposed my V2.4 settings straight over to V3 and have started doing test flights. I have noticed there is a 1g abrupt change in heave (the rig moves down from center) as soon as there is no Weight On Wheels registered. If I halt the fight while in the air the rig moves back up to center. I then removed the outputs from the export.lua with the following code;

    local slot_ias = LoGetIndicatedAirSpeed()
    local slot_rpm = 0
    local slot_onground = OnGround
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    -- TESTING OUTPUTS
    slot_roll = 0
    slot_pitch = 0
    slot_yaw = 0
    slot_heave = 0
    slot_sway = 0
    slot_surge = 0
    slot_roll_rate = 0
    slot_pitch_rate = 0
    slot_yaw_rate = 0
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    my_send = socket.protect(function()
    if c then--

    And it still does the drop?

    Also it was a very weird first flight as it appears the pitch force is in the opposite direction to the flight direction but positive pitch up in the manual rig tests?

    I thought I was taking crazy pills, I never came across an options menu or export wizard. But apparently I have a funky version of SimTools that doesn't have an Options menu.

    Are there any type of keyboard commands that I can use for SimTools? I use this primarily for Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5. The issue is, if I want to change profiles or start or stop the motion, I have to go back to my computer. Since I just got an Elgato Stream Deck, I want to utilize the buttons and configure the ability to start profiles and select different sets (Set #1, Set #2 & etc.) and stop motion. Is no one doing anything like this?

    Having an issue with MSFS 2024 Min/Max Tuning. Roll appears to be fixed at 40 degrees and pitch appears to be fixed at 20 degrees (interestingly these are the same values from @yobuddy 's post above).

    see below with min/max set at 20 for roll and 10 for pitch, but the output maxes out at 40 and 20
    upload_2024-12-22_20-50-36.png

    then with min/max at 80 and 40 for roll and pitch, but output stays at 40 and 20.
    upload_2024-12-22_20-55-0.png

    Seems like changing the min/max has no effect on the output

    Figured it out, looks like I had to click the runway/cloud button... I feel like this is not the most intuitive thing. wonder if it would be better to have the default set to clouds since most time is spent flying, not on the runway?

    Is there a way to have a descriptive label for that setting and then indicate both which one you are editing and which one is active in game?

    Just a thought. Overall V3 is looking great though!

    I am trying to load the Simtools 3 plugin for WRC 10. I am asked to select the WRC10 installation directory. I think I have found the correct path but can't make it work. I'll post a picture of the screen. When I make this choice it says the chosen path it's not a valid for patching.
    I know my only problem is my extremely limited computer knowledge.
    Thanks Chris

    Hello everyone,

    I have a platform with 4 Prosimu PRS200 actuators. I changed the configuration and upgraded from an Asusek Z390 motherboard to an Asustek Z790. Since then, Simtools 3 no longer launches. It correctly detects COM 3, but when I try to start it, I get an error message saying "unable to start interface #1".

    In the Windows Device Manager, the USB cable for the actuators is recognized properly.

    Thank you for your help, as I am now stuck and don't understand what's going on.

    That's the save game location, not the install location for the game buddy. PM me if you continue to have problems.
    Take care!

    Please check the com port that is assigned to Interface #1. UN-assigning your interfaces, then restarting SimTools and resetting up your interfaces should work also.

    I am running a rig with 2x thanos controllers for an SFX100 base and gSeat which was working great in V2. I am very much enjoying using the much easier interfacing and improved looks of V3. However the new default plugins cannot match my rig requirements. Is there any plans on releasing the source code for the plugins?

    Thanks

    good day, I have a problem with com port communication. If I remember correctly, a beep sounds after a successful connection... I have thanos AASD, ThanosU and 2xarduino on cubexx firmware, I can't connect to any of the devices.. In simhub, they all work in flypt and SRStaké they work, but in simmtools v3 I can't get at least manual movement... I've already tried administrator mode, then win compatibility mode 8 (my windows is 11) of course I have both simhub and flypt turned off, I still can't connect to any unit... I also reinstalled simtools with no result.. I will be glad for any advice, I need to mix the axes and at the same time have an output with wrc 23 which is no different the software cannot (but my condition is to use simhub for other peripherals)

    Hi @BrassEm,
    Why can't you use extra4, roll rate? It's in degrees a second, as I believe you are looking for? It outputs the rate of degree change, and therefor returns to zero when nothing changes. Where Roll simply outputs the current degrees its tilting at. This is why Roll, Pitch and Yaw are classified as a Degree, and the rest are classified as accelerations on the data page shown in your pic.

    The BEEP, beep means the interface is not able to startup. I suggest you configure your interface in v3 and then click save. Now click the "Test Settings" button to verify that your new settings are working correctly. If you are still having problems, could you please PM me a pic of your interface settings and what hardware your trying to connect, and I will try to help you more buddy.
    Take care!

    I don't know if that has been reported, but it is extremely frustrating when the max/min limits do not save, even after clicking Save. It happens very often. Hopefully, this issue can be resolved soon. Good luck.

    I'm not seeing any errors here, are you using the vanilla SimTools installer, or a ProSimU build of SimTools?
    Feel free to PM me any more info you may have on the problem so I can get to the bottom of it for you.

    I use a quest 3 and I simply disable head tracking in the settings. Does the job.
