Yes, to enable the tracker with SRS you have to pay extra . But it did work very well, or at least on my rig.

if I remember correctly it is enough to use only WITMOTION tracker in SRS. and use flypt as a mover (of course you have to have steam enabled and run MSFS 2020 via steam)

Thx. I’ll give that a try. I would prefer to continue using flypt. I’ve found how to link fs2020 via steam, so that’s next to try.

    OVRMC or OXRMC ?
what are the differences, advantages ?

I`m using a Quest2 with OVRMC with a FlyPT virtual tracker (not SRS)
It works fine with AC, PC2 and AM2 in SteamVR mode (forced)
but sometimes the coordinates of the mover set in SteamVR shift off (x,z yaw), so I have to adjust these 3 coordinates in x, z, yaw again and again.

I guess it will work fine with FS2020, DCSW, Xplane.

Is OXRMC working the same way with the virtual tracker ?
    Does OXRMC work with Occulus.api?

Am I missing something? Is there a motion compensation plugin for SimTools 3 that works OpenXR? The only thing I'm finding online is the OpenVR plugin. I'd like to find motion compensation that works with OpenXR or PimaxXR and Simtools either with Inside-Out or Outside-in tracking...

    Any tips?

I am in the same place now, i also need to do something with the wit motion, but qll a bit new to me.
Running. Pimax 8kx and open xr.
Any guidence would be good, i have been reading a lot but q bit muddled up with it all
I have got it working with q controller but thats not very good.
I got the wit motiin as it seems to be the better option and can go bang in the right place.

I figured it out. This link, Release Signed binaries / crosshair/ quality of life improvements · BuzzteeBear/OpenXR-MotionCompensation · GitHub make sure Open XR is the running application in the background, I use opencomposite application OpenComposite/README.md at main · aashishvasu/OpenComposite · GitHub to force this. Make sure your controller is attached securely to the rig, I mean SECURE, and then in game "LCtrl+Insert+ to start it when the controller you choose in the config file is activated and recognized by the headset. I use left controller as it was defaulted, I didn't change any parameters. I just installed, load the game and left control and insert together and I am good to go!

I have already done that for the controllers way. Its the witmotion i wanted to get working.
I think my ossues with the controller is i don't have it central on the rig, i will make some adjustments soon and try again where the controller can be bang on central and about the seat or something.
Thank you for links saves me looking again when i re do the controller.
It sort of worked but was a bit laggy was the problem, but i am pretty sure its just the controller location as its to the side of the monitor, only choice atm, monitor attcched to rig it shpudl still track which it does but falls behind for being detailed.
Have you got a photo where your is placed at all :)

    Cheers

I currently am using a 3d printed gun stock quest 3 cup with a strong magnet on the left of the rig. Works perfectly, and due to my haptic transducers I use the "left control + \" for stabilizing motion which works perfectly. I also 3d printed the green quest 3 controller but haven't tried it yet and am currently printing another holder and I'm gonna compare them.

This method works perfect for me so far.

Yes this works with Simtools. Open composite forces openxr. So in the background it's ready, works in DCS and MSFS tested as recent as yesterday. Follow the steps mentioned in my prior posts here and hopefully it works. I have only used this with the quest 3 hmd and controller. It appears to work the same with Pimax too.

guys, so with the pimax i assumei would need a tracker mounted to the seat. lets say the VIVE 2.0

Am I right in saying i then also need a lighthouse? base station? where would I secure this to?

Looks like a light house to track the hmd for general vr tracking, and a controller secured to rhe rig to compensate the motion.
Here is someone with a pimax utilizing this method.

i got a pimax 5k; hmm gets so technical so viva2.0 tracker on back of seat next to head , and then a lighthouse.
where would you mount to light house. Obviusly at the front of the rig; looking at the vive? lol

I have a index headset too, so I'm assuming it's the same, I am not familiar with pimax though. I only tried this with my Quest and it tracks inside out from the headset. So I'm not sure if the lighthouse has to be affixed to the rig to view the controller and hmd. I'd have to watch that video again and see what the gentlemen suggests.

Is it possible to use simtools for the motion rig and run SRS at the same time for motion compensation for the VR?

I don't see why not. Just having to pay for another licensing program... I think srs uses witmotiom as a separate connection and purchase, not sure it covers more than 2 dof though.

Witmotion won’t work for me. I need vive tracker. Will check out if SRS can do it.
I also have Simhub . Might have a go with that as that is running the bass shakers. I have a full
Motion license with that but it’s options are hopeless for motion rigs compared to the sim tools . You can’t even dedicate axis to your liking on that.
Hopefully it allows motion compensation to run in parallel to simtools

What issue have you encountered with oxrmc? Since it's easy a free I'd reccomend trouble shooting until you figure it out. It works very well when it's setup correctly.

Right so I will get physical tracker and mount it on the rig using rubber mounts; steel plating and weights.

I rather not DRILL into the bucket seats.

Is it possible to mount it behind the steering wheel and then adjust a measurement setting?
