Did you update the code on your arduino ?
The IBT-2 use MODE 2, but this board use MODE 1

I don't use the controller so it is hard to follow your description without seeing the actual wiring.

For example, is the Direction wiring as per the wiring diagram hooked up as depicted, Digital (PWM) 2-5?

Oh I did not! I thought I read at the begining of this thread that the default mode worked for this controller. Awesome, I will give this a try @Wagnard thanks!

@noorbeast It is except im only using half of the wiring becuase I am only connecting one motor. So 2-3 + 9. But I think its likly what @Wagnard mentioned

That's probably it. BTW default mode is 1, so you probably edited it when you used your IBT-2 at beginning.

I purchased 3 of these 2 months ago. Just hooking them up today & I'm only getting output from motor 1 on all 3 of them. Swapped the inputs from the arduino over, so it's getting a signal. Anyone else have this issue?

[IMG] I saw this thread and decided to order the 100A board from Aliexpress for my motorcycle motion sim and it finally came in. I pulled out my ibt2 boards and wired this one in and opened smc3 with same settings and it shakes like crazy right away. I’ve been messing with the settings a bunch but can’t get it to stop shaking. I did reprogram the arduino to be Mode1 cause I read that here.
Any advice on the settings on this 100A boards vs the Ibt2

Attached photos of my ibt2 settings that I am were working before I switched to this new board.

With new hardware redo the SMC3 setup from scratch: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...3dof-motor-driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/

Thanks for the reply. I see that there are 2 different variations of the driver. Does yours have the led's at the terminal block end or on the side?

You need to refresh the arduino with the correct mode for this board. Ibt2 board is mode 2 and this one is mode 1

This is the board I received. The wiring was labeled on this board differently than on the diagram on the first page of this thread so I did have to make some tweaks to where the wires connected.
Also I used a fresh arduino and programmed it in mode1. Still shaking

    Same as mine.

When you say shaking, does is still work (you can move it to the position you want) but you see some shake or it's not even working?

Also it requires a battery too. Without it the current has no exit and I was getting some hickup.

It’s pulsing like crazy. So if I set it to follow a wave, it will but very very shaky and if I set it to the level position it shakes like crazy there.
    It’s 24v I don’t have a battery setup but I’m using a 24v 30A power supply. It worked well with the ibt2

does the rumble happen when you are at the limit you set in SMC ? I know that when you hit the limit it tries to bring it back and can shake like that.
what happen if you select "sine"

that's weird because you have the min and max at 0, it means no power it shouldn't move. maybe wrong motor selected on top left.
5Khz is a little low , probably should at least start at 10khz.

Yes so I had it at 35. That’s what I had it at when I was using at ibt2. Did same thing
