I used to control my simrig with xsim. Because I installed windows 8.1 today and x-sim isn't compatible with it, I tried SimTools and everything works fine.
But the driver of my wheel (fanatec csr elite) isn't compatible with 8.1... so I have to return to windows 8. I will not return to xsim provided!
Although under development, simtools is more intuitive :)

That is not good to hear; that the Fanatec driver is not compatible. I too am using Fanatec gear. Did you check the Fanatec forums to see if there is an update?

EDIT: lol, just noticed that you posted a "You have been warned" post over there ;)

Ah dont worry, they will ban you in no time at all. Just stay here and stick with Simtools.
As for fanatec wheel driver, I asked here for you as well http://insidesimracing.tv/forums/topic/6403-so-will-fanatec-work-with-windows-8/

Should not be possible when the platform mechanic has been build properly. Do you have any pictures for the issue?

Thanks Erwan, good to know. I was going to upgrade to 8.1 (so it will boot to the desktop if for no other reason) but was hesitant after hearing about your Fanatec driver issue.

Hi Mario and welcome in the forum!

Have you tried load cells from a pesapersone? Cheap and accurate!

ah no there is no interface plugin for the k8055 not a recommended driver, if using a sabertooth recommend using the Kangaroo instead to drive the sabertooth
