    I'm not blaming the product for the feedback not being recognized as connected cause it could be my fault (I have to see if there's away to find out if the JRK is 'compromised').
    But I could blame it for the USB connector, since it seems I'm not the only one who suffered this problem. The JRKs lie in a box and the USB cables are nailed and can't be moved, so it's hard to me to understand how could one connector fail one day from another

    About the Pololu support, I cannot say a bad thing, they answered the first time pretty soon and I'm sure they will do it again as soon as they read my answer (right now is still night over there).

    After the problems with both the JRKs and waiting to fix them I switched back to Arduino and MM.
    I'm suffering this strange issue: both motors are so weak now. I'm using the same configuration I used before but now I can stop the chair by hand without even sitting.

    What can this depend on? The hardware is the same as before, software and setting too...
    @Pit any advices?

    I didn't uploaded 'cause wirings, smc3, ... it's all as it was when it was working the last time I used Ard & MM.
    I was just wondering if there's somethings that comes to mind to you about what could be the cause.
    I was thinking about wires too thin... but are the same I used before and with the JRKs too

    So the problem was with the soldering of the 5v pin. It was weak and the effect was as if I used thin wires.
    Riding again with Arduino & MM :)

    Since the seat mover was up and running again I tried to fix both JRKs.
    The USB connector was pretty easy to fix, let's hope it lasts.
    The other one that didn't see the pot anymore, was a bit longer to fix, but removing the old wires and soldering, and doing it again from scratch seems to have fixed the problem!

    Now I got two electronic system that work. On my main desk I'll go for jrks cause are easier to set.
    Considering I've got another PSU, U-Joint, motor, wheel (DFGT) and the ARD & MM I think I'll build another compact seat mover for guests (or to sell it...)

    Now that I've put (again) all the pieces together I post a short video with the last release.
    Now I'm on JRKs, game manager settings were made for Arduino/MM, so it's a little weak now.
    Right now I just got Surge and a little Sway, Heave and Pitch. No Roll and Yaw.

    A couple of laps at Blackwood, a mod track for Assetto Corsa.

    For face tracking I'm using the PS3 Eye with FaceTrackNoIR, a free software that works pretty fine.

    I was thinking of trying the PS3 Eye + FaceTrackNoIR for a head tracking new project that needs to be portable, is it robust in use for variable lighting situations?

    PS3 Eye works @120hz so it's pretty accurate. Better have an illuminated face, so if I turn the main light off I use a bajour, a reading light, cause the only light from the screen wouldn't be enough.

    Maybe it was just my settings, but I find Arduino to be more 'raw', more on/off, while JRKs are more linear, soft

    But I'll tell you more tomorrow when I play with PID settings

    Thanks, I did try a webcam but did not think it robust enough, the PS3 Eye was next on my list as I can't justify the cost of TrackIR.

    IMO really difficult to compare them separately from current and power due to the numerous parameters of each driver. I can not confirm that the Ard is raw, obviously you should check out if there could be some more potential of fine tuning. Even after one year testing I make new experiences while playing with all variables. Remember also, meanwhile I am very familiar with Ards...
