That would be cool to have a stable plugin that works with the future versions of the game too! :thumbs

Took me many hours but I managed to make something out of it!
Roll is Roll rate in degrees (so it's not related to the planes angle relative to the earth)
Pitch is the position of elevator (so it's not relative to the earth)
Heave is G forces that the pilot experiences
    Yaw is rudder position
    Sway is Sideslip angle
Surge is calculated from delta speed, so it gets little wonky when you dive.

Only "problem" with the plugin is that it opens many (6000-7000) tcp connections to localhost . every update request opens new one and it takes some time to close the old ones. but that is what it is as there is no other way to pull the values from the game, except memory hooks.

I've attached the plugin for people to test. Let me know how it works.

I do not know as I have not tested it in one. You'll have to give it a go to see if it works.

I just did the latest War Thunder update and both it and the motion plugin are working for me.

When you say the "screen is completely upside down" do you mean in normal monitor mode or with the Rift. I currently don't have a runtime switcher installed so can't test War Thunder Rift support at the moment.

If it is with a monitor what is your graphics card configuration?

Sounds like the latest War Thunder update may have done something that messes with the way the triples are configured. Have you tried a single screen, just to see what happens?

The Oculus SDK 1 is available for developers so let's hope War Thunder gets to that soon, as they have worked out most of the other VR issues, except for some HUD elements.

Based on their track record I would very seriously doubt it.

I can't wait until I get my seat designed and built. I am also pre-ordering a rift. Too. This is the game I want to play the most!

Does the new plugin work for tank view? If not, is a similar stream of data provided via TCP? That would definitely be a unique vehicle for motion sims :)

Hmm downloaded it, doesn't seem to give the same info for tanks? You can pull up the web page map but it doesn't seem to include any of the "statistics" for what's going on.. Unless something was wrong on my end.

I only made the plugin to work with the planes, so the tank part won't work.
I'll have to try the tank part of the game and see if I can come up with something for it. It might take couple of weeks as I have some other things going on at the moment.

    @darkcrayon
I finally got around to have a look at the possibility of adding motion for the tank part of the game, but unfortunately it seems like it's impossible to do without memory hooks. The tank mode does not provide the data though tcp.
The memory hook would brake every time the game is updated so the fun would not last long.

    Guys,
I am getting no motion from the game.
    2016-05-28.png
Game manager and engine, both running in admin mode.

Am I missing something here or is it that they updated the game and changed something related to the telemetry?
Perhaps to add tanks data now! :roll

    Any help is appreciated! :sos

    Nevermind. Working now.

For some reason I had an old plugin installed. Got the latest one.

There is just one strange behavior as the pitch has some strange jerk aleatory movements back and forth... lol

Try the smoothing filter on pitch.
