I believe the COR is just that, the center of rotation. So it is the point about which the software is going to try to pivot the seat. It doesn't directly have anything to do with how the rig is built as much as how FlyPT runs the math to get movements. One good example of how it can be used is traction loss. If you leave the COR at the center of your rig, when the car starts spinning it would give you a pure yaw motion. Depending on the vehicle you're in, that might not be the most accurate feeling. The car is going to want to rotate around the front axle, so if you set the COR in front of you, that same spinning yaw input would give you an output that is a blend of sway and yaw. Nothing about your rig would have to change (though you might get a lot less range of motion depending on where the COR is because you'll get more blended motion out of rotations).

This software is a dream. Only glitch I've had in 3 days is on loss of serial connection. Something with steam opening a ad window perhaps.

And! OXRMC was a piece of cake to get running. I'm sim racing so not completely necessary but wanted to experiment. Overall the motion cues feel much better with it on. I'm running in high precision and 2ms intervals. There is perceptible lag in the compensation which give a motion sickness type sensation. Is there a way to sacrifice compensation quality for decreased lag?

I think i got it, scale affects the park position it seems to be like a offset.
How works the auto gain ?

Hey all, I'm in desperate need of some help.

I noticed that my wind sim wasn't working for one of my titles (AMS2), so I tried deleting the module, and duplicating one that was working. However, when I tried to save everything as a local file, I received an error about hexadecimal X0.01 being an invalid character (I didn't save the exact error message). I've never seen that error message before, and I didn't change anything other than deleting a module. Anyway, I tried to continue, and got no further error messages, however now when I try to open the local file, I get a new error message (see photo) and if I continue, FlyPT just opens up a blank screen.

I really hope I didn't just lose everything in my setup file! Please help!

@pmvcda Please see above two posts for a critical error with FlyPT Mover that is preventing me from accessing my one and only saved Mover file :( Any help you can spare would be so greatly appreciated. It has been so long since I setup my rig, that I don't think I could do it properly from scratch again, so I am really hoping that I won't need to!

    Hi All
Been using Mover 353 for a long time. For some unknown reason it will no longer open. It hangs before the main window is rendered properly.
It has to be something that I changed or installed on my PC, but despite many days of investigation I cannot pinpoint it.
3.7 runs Ok. I started to configure my rig with that but got stumped pretty quickly, so I am back to troubleshooting 353.
Attached is a screenshot of the 353 window hanging without fully rendering.
Also attached is the dot net versions installed, since I'm thinking this might be something todo with it.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot much appreciated. Nothing in Event Viewer. Mover doesn't seem to have logging afaics.

My flypt 3.53 also doesn't work after win11 upgrade, the same as the feedback in the above post
