Are you using a second sound card, not that same one used for the game audio?
(As I have no idea how a steering wheel could override the rpm output from a game is all)

Just a tip, you will probably find that the sin or saw wave will give a better rpm vibration.
Anyway, please turn the volume for chassis off so we can isolate just RPM, and get it working before moving on to another vibe.

I will take a look at this plugin on Monday, and make sure the data coming in for vibe is correct. As it looks like the rpm incoming number is way to high.

Rpm number I tried several settings, but I couldn't get it to work correctly at all, I also tried assetto corsa, grid, grid legends but with these it crashes and simtools closes

So I've been using v1.2 for a long time. But wanted to upgrade to v3. However after downloading the demo of both v3 and live4speed to test with, as well as all required plugins. I have run into an issue.
I use the server interface and copied the setup from my v1.2
Then set up just a pitch dof with only 25 % force and 25 boundary to play it safe.
With the power off I downloaded the slider plugin to check the virtual axis. When it looked good I powered on the seat. Once I hit the test button my seat goes all the way forward and tries to pass my physical safety stops.
I exited v3 and tried the seat again using v1.2 to rule a seat problem out however it operates as it should so that leads me to believe I am doing something wrong or the program has a fundental difference in the interface setting.

    What might it be?

Please post pictures of your Interface Settings, as the format has changed long ago.

They are the same. Is my problem that I didn't put an "a" behind the axis?
