Filters are in my view the final tweaks for a motion profile, but are not really a 'fix' for a profile that may not be fully optimised.

The easiest way to pin down an issue, which may be the culmination of a range of filter settings, is to note the current values then set every axis assignment to zero except one, test that one axis with the track and car you notice the issue with, then disable it and do each other axis one at a time, see the FAQ tuning tips: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Other things that can create issues is having too high a % total in Axis Assignments, or other weird settings: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/

Happy new year. long time no posting, but I am working on my sim. Will post some photos i near future, just need to clean up first :) Status is seatmover working ok. Added a LOT of vibration motors with arduino and SimHub . Made new H-shifter, and improved pedals with Loadcell on brake. I have buildt a semi-enclosed cockpit, and lighting it up with Philips Hue bridge, and two lightbars.

Working on my new wheel with EMCUtility PRO. Waiting for a sport wheel to mount on it.

I use two motors from a motorized office table, for the wheel, and 1-8 ratio with a belt. I experience some humming. Any idea to reduse it, other than frequency setting in the software?
