Is your shifter static or is it mounted to your chair? I'm building a seat shaker similar to yours and I'm struggling with how to mount the shifter and e-brake. Static or moving with the seat.

Also, any idea how many degrees your seat moves through in each axis, pitch and roll.

    Great looking rig, congratulations

Cheers ,,,,, The shifter is static attached to the H-frame next to my wheel,

I don't know the actual degrees but i am using the Boundary filter with Pitch & Roll to shorten the degree of movement whilst still keeping the effect full on so to speak ,, Plus i find it stops pitch, roll & heave bleeding into the surge & sway too much with a 2DOF .

@stevemontuno has not been active since March last year, and the post you are referencing is even older, 2016, so I am not sure you will get a response.

Oh I has not noticed. Do you by any chance know roughly how long a can make the ujoin and still have a comfortable seat height.

That depends a lot on the actual rig design and if it is a seat shaker (needs less clearance so shorter Ujoint) or full frame (needs more clearance so longer Ujoint).

I seem to think it was about 25cm long ,,I needed it that high because i wanted my foot pedals raised so i could fit my motor control box under them ,,,,

noorbeast is right though it all depends on what type of design your going for.
