I was finally able to hit this over the holidays and as of today, I have a full platform setup and running in the JRK configuration tool. Tomorrow is the big day - I'll find out if my motors and setup can actually handle all the weight (~ 140kg). My fall back is to modify the rear of the rig to allow for a much higher mount point.

I can't say enough about all the help this site has provided. Special thanks to @bsft and @eaorobbie. Every time I had a question, I searched the forums and one of these guys had answered it before (usually many times).

For now, a few quick pics:

Ha- I thought someone might call me on that ;) I blew my first fan during testing but will surely install a replacement before I run the rig.

First ride in the rig today using Oculus Rift and NoLimits Rollercoaster. Even without calibration, it was awesome!

I'm having some overheating issues, discussing in another thread, but hopeful these will be ironed out later this week.

Once everything is finished, I'll post more specifics on the build and a parts list which should prove helpful to someone. Sourcing parts was the most time consuming piece of this whole project - no doubt a result of my mechanical ignorance. For example, finding a 4mm- 6.35mm coupler is near impossible and takes 4 weeks to arrive! Shaft size does matter....

    Thanks again to everyone!
