There is a little photo album with comments about my 2DOF motion seat building process.
The beginning was assembled an Ikea office chair (for young guys) and my old race seat in the end of year 2010.

And I had modificated my furniture for the pedals and steering wheel in 2010.

After this there was a long break in my simulator building career. :)

Unfortunately for me I had seen a youtube video about a factory motion platform
which was very compact but very expensive.
So I have decided I will build one in 2022.
My purpose was a very compact motion seat and I wanted that every parts of it will be there under the seat. After a lot of planning I have collected every parts what I need to.

A rear wheel drive cardan shaft:

A huge amount of work there was in front of me. :)

During a lot of welding, turning and milling work
I had modificated and upgraded my old Logitech g27 steering wheel.
The little factory steering wheel was exchanged a
real sport car steering wheel exactly the same as is there in my historic sport car:

Yes there is a home made handbrake too. :)

I started to use again my simulator system and I really missed a handbrake.
So I built one from a real car handbrake and some iron:

It is only a push button handbrake now but I will upgrade it to a load cell-arduino axis working handbrake.
I hope my plan will work. :)

    Back to my motion seat.
There were a lot of welding work:

After uncountable assembly and disassembly, painting was the next the electricity.

Finally I had assembled the whole seat and the next step was the set of problems what there is the begining in my post (thank you for your help and your time @noorbeast).
I had to go back to the begining and rewire the whole system....

This type of chinese wire is a piece of shit:

    IMG_3932.JPG

There were broken internal wire and one of my motor did not work...
I had to replace all the wire from a car cable set.

Now I am playing a lot in this seat, however, I am planning to develop it to a 3DOF motion seat. :)

Me and my 2DOF moving seat (the car in the Assetto Corsa is my real hobby
historic race car, another 3d programming work :) ):

    https://youtube.com/shorts/CzX9CYQziKM

And my 9 years old son is driving in the moving seat:

My developing plan in the near future:

    1. I am waiting my Vr headset (Oculus Quest 2) and I hope it will work with Assetto Corsa.
I were watching a lot of simracing video on youtube and every guy has one some type of VR headset,
so I am very curious what feeling is a VR simracing with motion seat.
    2. I will develop my handbrake to a load cell handbrake.
    3. And this moving seat will became a 3DOF moving seat.

And of course I will have got a lot of question about this process. :)

And of course if someone has any question about my simracing project,
please do not hesitate just write the question and I will try to answer that. :)
