    I am using 24v 20A 480W PSU's, which have a potentiometer to adjust the Voltage, using a voltmeter on the output side to make sure both PSU's are the same on each motor.
    A bit like the meanwell you mention, on Aliexpress several to find, mostly used as LED PSU's
    The ones I use are a bit loud, so maybe I will swap them for others in the near future....although they are working great(not heat issues).

    But as you can drop them down to 21v, maybe try it that voltage and check if the IDT;s are not getting too warm....you can always decrease the used power in SMC3(will send you my screenshots when I am behind my PC, now on holiday)
