Had some more time to have another crack:
    • Changed out Arduino for another one (The original stopped responding when testing using the SMC utility so I thought I may be onto something)
    • Purchased a new USB cable
    • Transferred everything to different computer
    • Tested using SMC3 Utility. Works fine.
    • Using the Demo version of Sim Tools did an output test, again without success.
    • Looking at the output testing of the Sim Tools, the software is responding. (Surge Only is set up) pics attached (COM 10 is the current output channel, which is what the Arduino is linked to).

You have not posted a picture of your Interface Settings, for SimTools 2 they are:

    [A<Axis1a>][B<Axis2a>]

    Set for 10bit binary output

    Baud rate 500000 , N , 8 , 1 (10ms delay)

    Hi Noorbeast,

Sorry, I did do all that, however as it is a Demo SIM Tools 2 I can't save it. I have just set it up again and tested it. Still no go. Pic attached

What do you mean it won't save? That should not be an issue, even with the demo version.

When the adding the interface settings, the "save" button stays sort of greyed out... well, a light green, and not clickable. It seems to stay locked in while I leave the game engine open, and move to the output testing area. But if I completely exit out, because i can't save, it doesn't save the settings. I thought it was something to do with it being a demo

Failing to save is not an issue with the demo. When you hit the save button it should pop up a confirmation box.

Try launching Game Engine as Admin and see if that makes a difference. If not then uninstall SimTools and do a full clean install.
