How did you get the large gear speedo and gear indicator on the screen? I would like that on my setup.

Also what app are you running on the tablet?

Awesome job you have done here, once you try the DK2 you can get rid of half the weight of your rig as you dont need any of it :)

Think you may need a faster card but im not sure I upgraded from a AMD 9750 to a 970gtx and it runs everything so far smooth as silk.

My rig is ugly as hell but once you put that rift on you cant see it.

@Nick Moxley When you get a chance I want to see your tuning center and axis presets for AC :) Curious to see how it differs from my setup.

@Nick very nice video but very nice movement!!! i love it, really a good work.... assetto corsa in Dk2 it' s awesome, i can play it in time attack really smooth (75 fps stable AAx2) and not juddering with Gtx 660 oc version, then no problem for you, problem only if go to race with other car, fps go down and motion sickness come up......
Why u have a fix virtual wheel on the monitor? If u don' t like the movement can disable it, it' s more realistic...
    Again really good work ;)

I often forget to "turn off" the wheel as in some cars mainly F1 and few others I like having the 3rd SLI display. Next video I'll have it proper. thanks for noticing....:p

Wish the Rift was Mine but its a buddies Brother, so I dont know how long or to what extent ill be playing with it, but still look forward to it and hope my Gfx card is up to snuff.

I would still most likely wait for the Full release, Unless its completely MIND blowing and i come off the rig in Pure Nirvana, Then ill just get it for Xmas....Bah whats another 350$ in the end.:thumbs

AC in the rift is the best experience that u can try , expecially for us that are ever find a maximum immersive situation (we build crazy machine for that) ....
But now Dk2 it' s only a "demo" of future, full of bug and need much tuning to work .... If i had have possibility to try it a lot of day ....maybe i would wait next Cv1.....
Remember that u need a pair of day to get used from initially motion sickness, that if u set all correctly disappears soon, after'll never want to go back to a normal monitor experience.....

    heheeee....groovy man. :)
I usually just wear socks as I am a size 14 Shoe and my footsies are too big to have shoes on while trying to mash the pedals.

The first time I shaved them down i could feel a 3mm button screw under my foot, This time i went for a 2mm Round ball of Shot. Mission Accomplished. So Its not a matter of feel, But when you heel toe shift with a CSP load cell Cranked up and you dont want to destroy your feet, you wear shoes.

Was tempted to buy a set of Real Racing shoes, But doubt i will now.

These are basically a set of socks that are made of Leather and have a Thin coating of rubber lol
