they are pretty hard. we use them on equipment to carry a fairly heavy load on a turntable for wrapping skids. The insert bearing is a 6201-RS

Any wobble on the front end ? like push down on either front corner and see how much deflection the frames have against each other.

The top frame sits solid on the lower frame. It move very smooth side to side. All wheels have bearings and the front pivot point is a timken cup and bearing. Most of the wieght will be centerd on the seat when you are driving making it even more stable.

If you push down it will tip. The solution to that if it a problem is to secure the front pivot piont so thete is no side play in the shaft that goes through the bearing. Is this what you are trying to make aware of, top being tippy? thx nick:)

Correct, without supports like caster, i fear it will have a tendency to "wobble" if you press on either front corner. The problem isn't in motion per say but with your Steering wheel and fighting the wheel's feedback, the top frame will want to roll side to side adding pressure to the Front bearing and if there isn't support on either front corner is can have a "tippy/wobble" effect. I guess if you could somehow "load" that timken cup bearing exactly as you would on an Axle you might be able to prevent the problem, but In all honesty i think it'll still wobble a bit being as heavy and large as our rigs tend to be.

This was my quick 20min fix for mine, Granted i dont have a Large Axle bearing as your using. but rather a 12" round lazy susan which has far more "surface area" to prevent the wobble, yet it still did.

Thank you for the info. I will certainly take it under advisement. Your fix may work for me if its needed to stabilize the motion. thx Nick!

I have not purchased the scn6 yet for the traction loss. Could someone guide me on the one to buy. I did read that the scn6-020 is ok, but what stroke should it be. 100mm or 150mm. thanks

Today I got my grandson to help with the frame. We decided to cut the frame in half and use joiners to put it back together. This will allow us to move the rig by disassembling it.
