I just bought a THANOS controller and six 80ST 750W motors yesterday. I really like your design and had a question about a design decision of the motor being in-line to your actuator instead of flipping the motor 180 with a belt and two gears?
    Thanks
    Robert

Just observing that both are legitimate options, basically simplicity Vs a bit more compact design.

Wouldn’t flipping the motor make it more compact because the overall length of the actuator would be shorter ?

Yes it would, but with the additional coupling and mounting complexity that goes with that, so as I mentioned earlier it is a tradeoff between simplicity Vs a bit more compact design.
