Ok, I think I have found an acceptable layout.:thumbs

The projection areas overlap a bit which leaves some reserve for adjustments. The light beams do not interfere with the pilot's head or the dashboard. I even have some headroom to the ceiling when the actuators are fully extended.

However, this excludes the installation of an overhead panel. It would have to be mounted above the projector level and would be out of (comfortable) reach. Manipulating switches on it would throw shadows. Bad luck but no desaster. You can't have everything.

Good question. There is no technical data available. I had to measure it. The amp meter of my workbench supply shows 0.5A at 220V. That's 110W. So a total of 440W should be manageable if I add some ventilation.

A really cool thing are LED screen panels that can be combined like tiles. Bendable/curved types are also available. You can build a wall or even a complete room out of them . Check out this!:o::cool:
However, the high quality types are prohibitively expensive. There are cheap ones on AliExpress but most of them have a pixel pitch of >1mm so they are only suitable for advertisment walls.

Yes, I saw those some time ago whilst exploring my options, I then realised that I can't afford what I really want. Much like a real helicopter
