    UPDATE
I have been able to get a few things crossed off of the to do list. I'm currently working on the electrical. Once I have that running I'll cut the rods and mount the cockpit.

Almost done with the wiring. What a mess more pics later. Last control box to finish tomorrow. I have set up the other four motors (left and right side motors) in smc3 utils and have good motion. I set everything up in three banks of two. I have two psu's in parallel running two motors. This way I can run from three circuits if necessary.
Edit..The lid from the last box is laying in the PSU bank it's not that messy.

From my own experience I suffer with you, because working on the floor is extremely uncomfortable and bad for the back. Great progress so far, really stunning about your rig - hope to see it working soon!

Congrats @bruce stephen, this gives me a lot of hope :) Unfortunately, my sim is in bay city so I can only work on it so often. Keep them videos coming.

Oops, caused by a poor connection on the other monsters neg input. One side did not last long maybe 5minutes. It shut down yesterday twice but I thought I just pushed motor too hard past limits while testing .

Faulty wiring. I'm running two monsters per motor but the negative connection was loose on the input of one of the monsters. Resulting in the motor running on one monster. One monster was a stretch on my 2dof. It didn't stand a chance by itself on this one. I smelled it yesterday while testing but stopped short of using a infrared thermometer to look for the "hot spot".

So when you say two monsters per motor, do you mean one whole chip per motor (30A continuous, 60A peak) or (60A continuous, 120A peak) ??

@BondeX 12 monsters total....two per motor or dual half bridge each motor.

first ride. profile is still crap but it moves with me on it. I'm still in the "break it to find the weak spots" phase. the drawback of designing on the fly.

Dude awesome job:thumbs The motion is quick, these motors are strong. Are you liking it better than your 3dof.

Also could you please share your motor and axis assignment? Thanks

Yes I like it a lot better so far but still have to get some stuff done on it. There was only heave, surge and sway in the video. Traction loss is next to be added along with pitch. The effects are still very rough. I am ready to mount my screen and foot plate. I've been using a small 20" screen sitting on a shelf to the right. The seat is just tacked in for now. I will start on the seat surge after I get the 6 dof running smoothly. I've also got some interference on motor 1 it seems twitchy while holding position. This is the only control box of the three to have the 5v wired in parallel so I'll probably have to split them.

screen in place, i decided a static screen fit my needs best so i suspended it from the ceiling with lighting cables. got soame gas springs hooked up also, 3@60 lbs works awesome it allows me hours of play with almost no heat buildup. here is a quick lap on dirt rally. sry for the delay on the floor cam it is ip so there is a slight lag.
