    Oh yes okay. Actually, I understand better there though. There is a lever arm which allows you to reduce the force required. My system is really different since I am in direct gear without a lever arm.. But this system seems very interesting all the same

    An important thing too, you have to think about the current return. Because changes of direction consume a lot but with the weight on top, it sends current back to the power supplies, what have you planned to protect the PSU?

    No, this arm is controversial - it reduces your motor power ~2 times - the push arm is two times smaller than driving arm - that give me hope my motors will be enough. Direct gear (mine too) is 1:1 of course

    Or you can use just big enough diode but you need your motor driver be capable of two times more volts than your motor is working or it will die )
