ok lets back to my set up again freind
cause i already have another Arduino uno board
programmed with Racingmat code and i just
had data to my pololu drive and motors so
so simtools and connections and motor drivers
work fine and here is my last setting for my new board with
    Prilad code:

altough when i click green turn on botton in output testing
the RX led on the board turn on,but still no data come to the board:think

    No.

    Lets go step by step:

1 - Upload firmware to Ard by XLoader.

2 - Unplug Ard from PC and plug in again.

3 - Start xSimCtrl.exe and setting up COM port. Pick checkboxes and try to receive data from Ard.
    xSimCtrl prilad.jpg

4 - If all previous steps have passed, exit from xSimCtrl and reset Ard and start SimTools.

5 - In SimTools you should set up interface like this.
    Setup SimTools - prilad.jpg

6 - let me know about results.

Try, please, FW with 9600 and 57600... And do you use btn "SAVE" after setting interface parameters?
I a little taken aback, to be honest...:blush

    i tried both 9600 & 57600,but no communication
and yes i use SAVE btn after setting and let say
i have done this setting succesfully several times with AMC 1.6
and also Arduino uno with Racingmat code but your code
has much better and smoother signal to the motors but
    unfotunatly problem with sending data...:(
    thank you

It's very strange. Yes, I found problem in my firmware with SimTools compatibility. But new version works fine. Try with output type "binary".
I'll try to create video later.

for the final test i've run same configuration with X-sim
and it just work very well, please fix the bug, cause your
code is great and is better to work with great simtools:cheers...

In this video you can see Firmware (v3) worked with SimTools. I have not hardware yet, but I can controll PWM signal by oscilloscope.

As you told me and I just did ,I could connect hardware with XsimCtrl2.2
And simply transfer data but there was problem while connecting with
Simtools, I think you are the one who knows how to deal with this bug and
Wrap it up this for community...
Thank you for all you have done for this nice Code up to now

"I only want to say..." (c) JC Superstar :grin

    hooshang, let me explicate.

Yes, in previous software version I found ("with a little help from my friends" (c) The Beatles ;)) "bug"- incompatibility with SimTools. And I have fixed this bug. And I posted video with software worked with Arduino Duemilanove and SimTools (and LFS game). And I think it SHOULD BE WORK in your SIM.

Please, check it again. You can find SimTools interface setting on my video.

And I ask community - can anybody else test Ard firmware with SimTools?

I installed the firmware but have not had time to go any further than that Prilad. Perhaps tomorrow I can get a few minutes free to try to set it up?

    Thanks for your hard work.

may this problem comes from difference between Arduino Duemilanove and uno?base on arduino.cc overview about Duemilanove...
    thank you

    @Historiker
eagerly wating for resault of ur set up,it can help a lot freind.

Now I post video with Arduino UNO test. There is no difference, both boards works fine with SimTools and firmware V3 (xsim_arduino_uno_v3_by_Ale_SimToolsCompatible)

ok and thank you for your efforts
    i dont have data again
    anyway somthing doesnt work properly.
the best is that other guys in community involve and do test in different
system and configuration, thats a reliable proof of the job:sos
