    Hi all.

I've been registered on this site for some time and I'm a long time X-Sim user that decided to give simtools a try.
Noticed the pay/post-to-download plugins model. Personally I don't like it, feels weird and I think it doesn't fit a community like this. Hope I can download the Assetto Corsa plugin soon after earning some of those "xs coins".

Anyways, let me share with all of you the project I've made 2 years ago and still rocking! b.joaoubaldo com /my-projects/2-dof-motion-platform-i/
@RacingMat, I can see you're around! We've exchanged many posts on X-Sim forums during the time I was building this project :)

post-to-download is probably one explanation why this forum is so active: people are incented to share designs, pictures, videos

just open a thread here and simply drag and drop pictures and vids on the message: it's as simple as this! you'll earn what you need in few days

Another garden variety noob here. Thought I'd join to get some good info and possibly help others along the way. My son an I made the joyrider frame last year and are finally ready to motorize it as a roller coaster sim. I've spent countless hours looking up wiper motors (best bang for your buck), but cannot get any definitive answer as to brands or specs. I understand I probably need a 12v motor, but do not know what amperage or torque I need. The Nissan B11 motor Thanos used on his joyrider is perfect, but I cannot find it nor a comparable one to purchase. Thinking bout spending roughly $50 apiece. Looking for information or links to information on which motors to use. Tried the FAQ, but haven't found anything yet. Thanks in advance.

Thx, buddy! Fastest response I've ever gotten. I'm really digging this community! I live in California and My joyrider is going to be belt-driven a la Thanos' joyrider.

Hi guys another guy from Winnipeg here. I was never terribly interested in motion simulators. Then I had the pleasure of meeting user Nick Moxley and now I'm very interested in this type of build. Interesting to see and watch the progress. I am shooting for a static rig but Seems like lots to learn from people here. All the best
