    Welcome @Michał.

The FAQs are a great place to start your project research: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

Here is how to build a working model: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/build-a-working-model-to-test-your-design-ideas.216/

    And existing 6DOF projects: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/6dof.22/category

You can even build your own actuators to power your rig: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/diy-linear-actuators.248/

We have a glossary for all those acronyms we tend to use, which will help you decipher some descriptions: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

When you are ready please start your own project thread here: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

Feel free to ask questions on your build thread, the members here give freely of both their time and expertise.

    @noorbeast thanks for reply,
now i start 2DOF project, i already have two DC 24V 120W motors, arduino mega and IBT-2, i plan to build my own actuator from HTD timing belt. For now the biggest problem is connecting sofware to arduino and understanding arduino code. I wonder what is the best and easiest way to connect software to hardware (motor control), is it arduino? Is Arduino able to control 6DOF?

We have a specific thread for commercial simulators @jonyt22, so post and questions you have there: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/commercial-simulators-and-peripherie.52/

I have not heard of anyone else owning a Motion Sphere from AET.

Motion driven video capabilities will be introduced with SimTools 2.0 with the creation of the Video Ride Player/Creator, a Ride, Capture and Create system for 5D style video rides: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-2-0-question-and-answer.8175/

Hello all, long time guest and reader but getting to a point of being able start my own racing sim. Really like the way this forum is set out and even though some of this is quite technical stuff, theirs a easyish answer out there.
I'm from central Victoria, Australia. Couch pc racer and massive motorsports fan. V8 Supercars, Tcm, f1, gt sports, legends. Ideal sim for me to build would be 2dof with slide/traction. Looking forward to asking a few questions and trying to answer a few more. My back ground is in building and fabrication, not computers and programming that's for sure.

    Hello
I am a newcomer in the world of simulators
    I recently started building a 2DOF simulator
I am from France, I am a civil servant and obviously, simtools will allow me to run my simulator in the right way.

I'm on the PCSHM forum and it was from there that I heard about simtools.

I would post in the section concerned, the first photos of the construction of the simulator

    have a good day

    bonjour

    Hello everybody!
I'd like to manufacture a racing motion simulator, and registered with here.
Use of SCN or the actuator equal with that is considered in a steel case of 3DOF as the plan.
I'd like to learn and go variously now.

Hi. I am new here. Sign up x simulator to work with my final year project. The question might be simple, but how to export data from game into excel? Because i just interest with the speed reading. Thank you.
