    Hey all,

Longtime lurker, about to start on a build of my own so I thought I'd go through with the intro and getting my project thread started shortly thereafter. Been wanting a rig for as long as I can remember and recently the recycling shop behind my shop picked up a bunch of motorized wheelchairs which I promptly jumped on and harvested parts from. Still tallying my inventory here, but as soon as I do, I'll have a design by constraint session and figure out the next step. You guys seem like a great community and I'm excited to get started!

Hello everyone, I found my way here while looking at options for a motorcycle controller.
My G27 won't be harmed but I do have a spare DFGT that's just begging for mods!

My initial plans were to somehow use the pedals mounted between my knees to help simulate rider lean
however that would limit me to bike sims that allow multiple controllers. (I think GP-bikes is the only one?)
I will most likely forego that one for now and maybe use android head tracking instead and use those pots
for gas and front brake so that I can run other titles easily.

I have already lurked just enough to find a link to some Chinese mobility scooter hall effect throttles which
might just be perfect assuming I can wire it straight into the DFGT wiring. If not I'll source a motorcycle
throttle from the wreckers. Anyway, assuming I get all this working I would then hope to add either rumble
motors or transducers to the bars to link with RPM for that authentic tingly arm sensation!

    Sorry for tl;dr,
    Optimus_Pro

tl;dr Thanks, this place is great!

    Hi everyone...

Thought I'd introduce myself and get the ball rolling.

I'm looking forward to participating in this community whilst I join the dots.

Putting the final stages to a 6DOF VR rig and looking to share information.

    Cheers,

    Rick :)

I thought it was about time I signed up and said hello.
I have been hanging about these forums for a while reading information on setting up a 2 or 3 DOF chair mover for some flying fun.
I'm an old hand at flight sims and recently got myself an Oculus Rift, now I want some movement to go along with it, god this pc gaming lark is killing my retirement plans but hell why not.
    Anyway Hello from Shropshire, UK
