    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, Arduino, 6DOF
Hi, would like to say hi to the forum!

I have been lurking around for while trying to gather as much info as I can, so I can start designing and building a motion sim! (great site with lots of info BTW)

The end goal is to hopefully design and build a 6DOF stewart platform!
But in the first few weeks I will initially build a couple of 3d printed test beds, 1st is a 2dof seat mover and then I will move onto the 6DOF jobbie. (I will start some separate build threads as I'm sure I will have lots of questions)
All the 'model' parts have already been designed(in Fusion 360) and printed and tonight my Arduino board and Servo Shield turned up, so I can make a start on the programming!!!

    Anyway Hi from Me!

    Hi All,

Tom from Melbourne, Australia here. I'm new to the Forum and to my recently purchased 3DOF simulator from DOFReality. Loving it so far, keen to hear other's experience with this rig and learn more about tweaking in SimTools. Great to see so many sim racing enthusiasts here!

    Hello
I'm from Switzerland and just build my motion rig.
it will be a 2 dof seat mover with scn 5 actutors from frex which hopefully will arrive this year.
at a later stage, a chassi mover will come under the Seatmover.

Steering wheel will be my podium DD1 won yesterday.:)

The picture is currently coming from my HTC Vive but will later become a Pimax 5k + or a StarVR one.

    Welcome @Mymy Tei.

At least you have started somewhere and no doubt have learned a lot along the way, which will assist when you have the room and money for your full size rig.

    Thanks @noorbeast ,

Yes, I have lot off learn about this and I have the most of the material (DX monster, arduino, 100Amps power ...) And in my last house I have started to build my full mover 2DOF.

But now, I live in very smal apartment so I try to build a seat mover very compact and easy to move.

For the moment I don't have pictures beacause it's actualy on drawing and I try to find the good compromise for the seat (real racing seat or gaming seat ...)

    Hi,

I'm just starting work on a bobsled training simulator project. I've created a course model in NoLimits 2 and found out that I'll need a plugin from here to hook it up to a motion simulator. I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions along the way. Any advice will be very welcome.

    Thanks,
    Owen
