    Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I found this forum after purchasing and assembling a Dofreality H3. I am having a blast driving Assetto Corsa and flying Elite Dangerous. I am really interested in getting Need For Speed Most Wanted (NFSMW) working. I have been unsuccessful as of yet. I have Live for Speed working, but no joy with NFSMW. If anyone has it working and knows some tricks I would love to hear about them.

    Happy driving!

    Hi all,

I ve found this site by searching how to make a simulator for F1 for PC game.

I bought simtools and .... really, I ' am a newbee .... it's my cousin who wants to do that, because, he is a Great fan of F1 since years.

Now, he decided than it's time to build his own simulator .... I help him, because, I am the "computer man" of the family :) .... and first of all, I love F1 and to make our own simulator is an exciting challenge.

And, our second challenge, is to do the same with a PS4, but, one thing at a time.

    Hi All

I’m Niall from Ireland, I’m a complete noob to the sim (and gaming!) world, but iv been thinking about building a motion platform some time now.
Iv recently finished building a cnc plasma table so I have a little experience with electronics, but after browsing some of the stuff on here it seems this is in an entirely different league!
Iv been recreationally flying planes for close to 10 years now and iv always been into steel fabrication, so I thought, why not combine the two and see if can build a flight sim to use when the weather is crap!
I’m hoping to build at least a 3 Dof rig, pitch, roll, yaw and a lot of the machines on here are incredible so I’m looking forward to pick the the brains of all you pros!

    Welcome @Niall Dockery.

You actually have a great set of experiences for building a motion rig, many here started with less. Researching and clarifying your plans and proposed equipment before buying anything is a good way to go, it will save you time and money.

    Hello,

My name is Andreas, 42 yrs old. I have build my own 737 fixed base simulator since 2011. During that process I have gained a lot knowledge and technical skills. Although a fixed based simulator with original parts (original yokes and origin 737-300 Throttle quadrant) provides a good immersion - it is still limited to one aircraft type...

To get more flexibility and increase the immersion I want to build a motion platform which can be used in a flexible Way for simulation of various types of vehicles - cars, aircraft, space Sims...using monitor or vr..

Immersion will be a big objective - the only issue i see at the moment regarding full immersion would be noisy ball bearings of the actuators...

Well let's see and let the journey commence.

    Cheers Andy

    Hi all,

I have been lurking around forums for a couple of weeks and only into sim racing for a little bit longer than that, but I have a bunch of time and some experience 3d printing and came across the SFX-100 project recently and have decided to give it a go. I am probably jumping in to all of this too soon, but for me, failing my way through a project like this can be a lot of fun. If all goes well here my next project will be a seatbelt tensioner, which I hear will help with the surge and brake feel.

Really eager to see what we can make!
