    Hey all,

I stumbled across the idea of a motion simulator and now it's kind of an obsession. It's perfect combination of various hobbies that I already work on. I'm currently designing an actuator to eventually build a 6 DOF platform.

    Welcome @seuszok

You can sometime save time, money and frustration by outlining your project before going too crazy ordering stuff, that way you can draw on the collective expertise of the community here.

When you are ready please start your own project thread here to show off your rig: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

Good luck with your project, I look forward to following your build thread.

    Hi guys,
Im a mechanical engineering student who loves modelling and printing stuff on 3D printers. Now I'm mainly focussed on rims but I would like to DIY a complete rig at one point. I have a belt drive using EMC and an Arduino, and a custom rim using simhub and and a pro micro.
I learnt about this site after seeing it zoom past on reddit and I would like to thank all the guys who have posted on here as it's full of usefull information.

    Hi,

I've just joined the forum. I'm based in Poland and I'm building a 2 DOF motion rig using wiper motors (4 off). It's actually nearly done mechanically - will post progress and lessons learnt soon. Hope it works

Before attempting a motion sim build, I already had some bass shakers and vibration motors hooked up to my play seat using SimHub - they work very well. Last step for full immersion is some motion!

    cheers,
    captain Jack

    Hi people
I'm new here, my name is Eduardo, I live in Brazil

I'm already starting to assemble my motion simulator, I already have the drivers, lack the structure and engines.

    I'm learning a lot here.
