    Hi. Obvious noob here.
I built the F1 seat from OSD last year but now I'm interested in adding motion to the whole seat.
Would love to be pointed to any 3dof motion bases that I might be able to mount my existing seat to.

    Hello,

I've been lurking around for a while and thought I should jump in. I’ve been sim racing for-ev-er, but only in a static seat. I recently started vintage racing and my interest here is in building a 2dof with traction-loss simulator that emulates my open-wheel formula car for Assetto Corsa primarily, others to follow no doubt.

Likely won't be full fledge building until this fall but will be accumulating hardware/ideas/planning prior to that.

I’ve already been down the rabbitholes of @noorbeast @SeatTime and @Halloween2go build threads so have too many ideas in my head currently. :)

I look forward to the journey.

Im New here and in the midst of building my motion sim for flight simulation. I have a set up currently but not a motion sim. So I am here to meet like minded folks and see how I can pursue my motion sim dreams. I posted a few photos on my stable set up.

Hi everyone, I found this forum because I'm interested in making my own FFB steering wheel and I will have questions regarding the analog electronics. I enjoy writing firmware but I my knowledge in analog (motors, power, etc.) is on par with my knowledge in chemistry.... which is none. Looking forward to interacting with all the knowledgeable members here

    Hi all,

My name is Mihai, I have been a member for just a few months, but found out about this great community about a year ago when the "itchiness" started about building my very first motion rig. I've been wanting to do this for the past 6 years, but money and time and mainly other projects (ebikes building and custom batteries) were always a problem. But that time is now !

I work as manufacturing enginner and build things at home in my spare time. I have basic CAD knowledge, a fully equiped garage and 2x 3D printers.

Following my introduction, will be the start of my project with couple of photos and a summary of what I am trying to achieve.

Thanks to everyone in here and many thanks to the admins for such a lovely and knowledgeful community.

Hey all, I'm new here and planning to build a 2DOF roughly based on @scruck's excellent tutorial. All the parts are ordered and now I'm just waiting.

I'm an engineer and feel like I always need some sort of hobby project going on, so I stumbled on this community via Google. I have lots of experience with software and hardware development as well as 3D printing, so this should be a good fit and a fun project.

My rig will be used exclusively with VR, so I'm less focused on the cockpit and more on making it compact. If I ever find the space, I plan to eventually build a PT-Actuator rig.

Looking forward to the experience here, seems like a great community!

    Hello everyone!

    My name is Justin.
I'm from Germany. I have studied aeronautical engineering here, currently working in a bit different area - allthough I play out my engineering desires in my free time.
I fly paraglidier as my hobby, well rather passion. The ones without propeller ;)
Since my childhood I am intrested in flight sims. Recently I moved to a place where I have some space in a basement room where I hopefully can build a small motion sim with a cockpit. Seen some similar projects here so that gives me hope that it's not all too unrealistic. I'm aware that its gonna be a huge project so I'll do step by step..

Looking forward to connect to you guys, Cheers :cheers
