    That's a really cool idea!
Decades ago we had some arcadey versions of these bikes, in our local amusement park: They were a blast!
Good luck on your build, hope to see a build diary :-D

    Greetings Hivemind.
    Ins0mniac, from Finland here.

I have been working with computers about 40 years, and always been messing with hardware/electronics.
Flew quite a bit as a kid with lot of Helicopter sims and games, dreaming of building a 1:1 Apache Simpit. Luckily the VR and DCS: AH-64D "saved" me.

I had the impression that proper DOF systems were quite expensive, so when 2 weeks ago I stumbled upon the SFX-100 project, and immediately ordered the parts for the SFX-150 variant (with Thanos)... Oh boy, down the rabbithole we go, again.

Seeking information for optimum frame dimensions for a 8020 sim rig, for Flight Sim use with the SFX-100 system.

Trying to figure out if better results can be had by crafting a 8020 DIY frame, or should I just pull the trigger and go for a P1-X kit:

    Hello everyone.

My name is Mario, I'm from Corsica, looking at the map I saw that there was no one else but me at the moment. I am currently the owner of a stewart hexapod type machine with three screens (I plan to add a VR headset), the machine was sold to me with a fairly restrictive software that does not allow me to flourish activated and it is in m 'interesting on how i could do that i came across this site. I hope I can find answers here and be able to contribute to the community as well afterwards.

Completely new to simulation, I still have fairly good computer skills, DIY, 3d printing, coding.

Hi Everybody, i'm Michele from Italy.
I've already build a 6DOF with linear actuators from PT-Actuators, Thanos controller and frame designed by me in order to do something a little diffrent from a car simulator...or better, a reverse car simulator!
I started this project for the company where i'm working a years ago, w eare bike carrier manufactorer and the idea is to test our product in the realest conditions possible. So, i don't seat on the RIG, i install the bike carrier with bikes and start driving in order to simulate the real movement of the car. In this way we can simulate what's happen while driving whitout going outside. We can also perform test to compare different solutions or materials...
The system works, but not as i would like...and that's why i'm here!
Thank you in advance for your help!
