Good evening everyone, I've been researching racing simulators for some time and only now have I found the courage to register on the forum. I am Brazilian and live in the interior of São Paulo, I have 2 projects in progress and a third at the beginning of research (reason for my registration here). the first was made in Metalon with parts from the 1995 sega rally, the second is in wood with a wooden cockpit based on the sega rally itself, but using G29 and the third in question is to be created in Metalon for 2dof or 3dof cars ( an alternative for motorcycles too). the first project is based on Arduino to read the pedals and flywheels, other projects I also intend to use Arduino to read and force feedback from them. I have an electronics laboratory YouTube where I post some of the maintenance that comes to me and there is the first episode of the first project already in operation and with telemetry via an Android application (in case anyone is interested in looking later). Now I'm looking for knowledge to take advantage of Sega Rally's parts for force feedback and learn more about DOF and improve it in other simulators. I have carpentry and metalworking equipment for personal use and this will save me from paying others to develop my own inventions. Another project that is underway is an electromechanical pinball table based on Arduino where I intend to replicate some of the knowledge acquired here in the future, to finalize it. Thank you very much for the opportunity and I hope I can contribute with my little knowledge. give hugs to all of you and we see the fight.

Thanks for warning me about not being able to post in more than one language, I won't do that anymore. As for the links you suggested, that was exactly what I was looking for, as I noticed that there are links within the forum that no longer work (the one to post the project to request a license for version 2).

Hello all, I've been watching these forums for a little while and finally needed to register so I could ask some questions.

I'm located in central Mississippi and am currently building a 3Dof Gseat. I've got the motion platform part built but haven't done the 'seat' part yet. I'll start a build/showcase thread at some point to show it off.
I'll mostly be using it with DCS and MSFS2020 in VR.

Other than that, I've been working on my Private Pilot Certificate and hope to have that completed by this summer.

    Hello!
I first bought used Prosimu 2 DOF 5 years ago. After 2 years, i was missing traction loss so i bought 3DOF upgrade from Prosimu.
And now, i am upgrading to 5DOF with SCN6 150mm actuators and DIY mods but i have to admit it's hard for me to change software from simstudio to simtools that i need for this new setup. My favorite game is AMS2 but i play with ACC, F1 2020, BeamNG and Wreckfest to.
For the moment, my rig is moving with AMS2 but in a haphazard way so I come here to understand why. T1000H.jpg

    Welcome @LSDD.

When you are ready please start your own project thread here, ask any questions you have related to design or setup: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/commercial-simulators-and-peripherie.52/

Do check out the SimTools manual, be it for v2, v3 or both: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-settings-tips-and-tricks.18/category

If you have not used SimTools before you may find v3 a bit easier, as everything is basically in one interface: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-v3.401/

    Good luck with your upgrade.

Hello, I live in France, I have been a reader of the forum for several years but I have never created a user account. It's done now. I made a PVC rig that I want to upgrade with a seat mover. I'm going to make a topic on the forum. I have difficulty understanding English but when it's technical I get by.

Greetings to all the members of this wonderful forum!
I love driving, cars and simulation video games.
I am a computer programmer and as a hobby I dabble in mechanics, I have restored 2 90s BMWs and now I am starting to get passionate about driving simulators.
I just built one thanks to the precious support I found on this forum.

    Hi all
short introduction. After lurking for a few months, I decided to join the forum fully :) . I have started building a rig last year for DCS. I fly the F16C. From Belgium, 42, and a aeroplane enthousiast. Also a rookie ULM (FK9) trainee pilot (8hours of flight time up to writing of this :) )

    Kind regards

    Hi everyone!

    My name is Benny...

I'm a newbie here and thrilled to join this community. I've been lurking around and found the discussions here to be incredibly insightful and helpful.

I'm still in the early stages of my tech journey, but I'm eager to learn and grow. I hope to pick up some tips and tricks from you all and maybe even contribute my own small discoveries along the way.

Please feel free to correct me if I make any mistakes or if I ask dumb questions! I'm here to learn and I'm not afraid to admit when I don't know something.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and growing together in this community!
