    Hi All,
I've been building a little rig over the past few years and running an arduino code that fudges acceleration but now I think I'm ready for some real input from the game.
My rig is a Logitech G29 with an encoder patched on the other motor of the wheel and pots grafted onto the pedals(I wasn't sure about wiring into the fine logitech device), Arduino Mega 2650, two BTS7690 drivers, two 12v wiper motors with encoders and a 12v power supply.
The first thing I'd like to would be to use SMC3 with my motors but can't seem to find the solution, there are a number of threads with this discussion but I can't find the resolution. These threads date back two or three years, is there now concise solution?

    Thanks

    Welcome @PeskyD.

Any 6DOF is an ambitious project. So doing some research before getting in too deep is time well spent. Great to see you are following in the footsteps of others, that saves some time, frustration and money.

Bounce your plans and shopping list off members before jumping too far down what can be an expensive rabbit hole, if you get it wrong.

Use the Search on the Recent page to find the latest member 6DOF projects, as there have been many refinements to how members build 6DOF rigs.

You will also find plenty of helpful information in the FAQs, including a section on 6DOF rigs, along with design considerations: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

If something sounds odd then look it up in the glossary: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

When you are ready please start your own project thread here and detail your project, so members can give support and advice where possible: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

    Good luck with your project.
