Hello! My name is Kevin. Ive always been interested in a nice Drifting simulator. I have 6 boys so I cannot spend the amount of money needed to get the quality I am looking for. I am hoping to learn as much as I can here! I think as of now I will be starting with an Adruino and 3 wiper motors. I am proficient at welding and fabricating. Although I have a lot to learn about the electronics as well as budget friendly quality brands as far as a steering wheel, pedals, and shifter. I thing I will read as much as I can and see where I get! This forum has some extremely talented people to learn from.

    Welcome @Kevin Rosloniec.

You can still do plenty, even on a budget.

Wiper motors generally need ground isolation: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/wiper-motor-mandatory-ground-isolation.25/

Another more powerful option are secondhand wheelchair motors.

You may want to be wary of cheap control hardware, like IBT2s, as many have reported quality issues, so cheap can sometimes end up being both frustrating and comparable cost to other options.
