Hello. My name is Ivan. I live in Kiev. Here's a photo of my project .

Welcome Ivan and thanks for sharing your project photo.

It would be a good idea to create your own build thread so I and others could discuss your project. I am interested in where you plan to attache the motor to the seat, as it looks like it has a bit of weight to move.

    Hello Everyone,

I'm Marc and I'm from Quebec, Canada.

I flown RC plane for 13 years and have my advanced ultralight license.

I built an ultralight and a home build plane with my father and been dreaming of building a motion platform for quit a while.

I was prevented from building one by the simple fact that I did not have any contact for mechanical parts and metal laser cutting suppliers that were shipping to Quebec

All that changed with my new job [IMG]

My goal is to build a Two Seater 3DOF Flight Sim Plaftform with 180 View

I surely will have a lot of questions as have being doing Maths and classic physics for quit a while.

    Welcome @atello

That is certainly an interesting project. Can you please start a new build thread and tease out a bit further what you have in mind. So for example what simulation environment, do you mean to build custom controls like dash or shifters, how many Degrees Of Freedom do you have in mind and what sort of budget?

I must admit I already started my project (am a member of another forum PCSHM, I think you already know someone frome there)
I'll try to post a thread about what i've done.
For the moment I'm at the point where I try to figure out how all these things can work together with a game ;-)
    Thanks for the links anyway

    Hello everyone,
For some time I dream of building a driving simulator.
I browse the forums on the subject in order to teach me. Now the goal of my project and advance materializes
In retirement, I took the time to introduce me to design with 3D Sketchup I begin to master.
I also do animation with Stekchyphysics but the explicit documentation does not grow!
One of my problems is that I do not master French English at all (thank you google translation).
Quickly I would open a thread on my project and would not fail to expose my difficulties, so I count on you. In parralèle if I can share my skills with you some techniques that will be a jamboree.

I look forward to your project thread and I am sure someone will help out with a translation if Google translate is not good enough.
