    Hi,

    I just bought a 2DOF sim
I will use simtools because it seems it is a very good soft, and it is very easy to configure.

    Welcome @dJuL.

It would be a good idea if you start your own build thread and post information and photos of what simulator you have purchased. That way the community can advise you.

Hi guys, discovered this forum through (SilentChill on his 3DOF rig with Dirt Rally)

That looks nuts! And now I want one!

I've gone through bits of the FAQ, but it looks like there's so much to learn, so much to think about, so much to plan.

    Hi all,

I'm Ste from the UK stumbled in from the cold after looking at ways the buy\make better hardware than my old G25. Great site and have already found one thread very useful which has helped me to make my mind up and make some pedals or at least have a go... Don't hold your great though it will take a while for me to but the pedal box first as I'm not the type that can cut, bend nor weld metal or even cutvwood to length.

    Cheers, Ste

    Hey everyone,

I am currently researching and putting parts together for a 3DOF motion sim to add to my existing setup. I'm looking to make the time spent in my simulator not only more fun, but more effective practice in between driving my actual race car.

Currently my setup involves a G27 mounted to an old Next Level "GT extreme" frame. I've owned an Oculus Rift DK2 for the past few months and I am absolutely loving it. I play Assetto Corsa almost daily. After using the DK2 I cannot go back to using a static display. It's like driving while looking through a tiny window with one eye closed and your head bolted down. Very much looking forward to where VR will take these type of simulator experiences.

This looks to be quite an active and friendly community. Nice to be here. :)

Currently using an rseat r1, triple monitors, Fanatic CSR Elite wheel & Elite pedal V2

Would like to upgrade into motion and after browsing this informative site I have my mind set on 3DOF as being built by pit
