    Welcome @azertyclub.

Yes it is indeed an active community here, with members freely giving of both their time and expertise.

By all means post in your native language but please do also include an English translation via Google Translate. It saves other members time trying to work out who may need help and who is just posting a comment. We have bi-lingual speakers from many different language group so if Google Translate really messes it up they can help clarify what was intended.

    Hello all.
I am a new member and have built two stationary rigs so far. I am looking into upgrading to a 3 or 6 DOF rig.
I am a fabricator of 18 years and a mechanic of 12 years before that. I am a computer and sim enthusiast in my spare time. I can built almost ANYTHING from scratch, either aluminum, steel or stainless. I will be visiting here often as I gather my initial design ideas. In the mean time I will share a cheap, easy way to get the most realistic feel from a brake pedal....It feels like real brakes because....well.....it's real brakes.

    Welcome @FattySteve

I think you mean 3DOF simulator and if so are you mainly intending flight simulator or car racing? If it is car racing you may prefer 2DOF + traction loss.

You are listed as a Gold Supporter, which means you should have access to download plugins for any game.

Virtual Reality with motion simulation for both flight and racing sims is just awesome. You really feel like you are in the plane or car.

Consumer VR will start at the end of this year with the HTC/Valve Vive and first quarter 2016 for the Oculus Rift, which will make it even better.

And about what you says."Virtual Reality with motion simulation for both flight and racing sims is just awesome. You really feel like you are in the plane or car."
i really think so!!! VR faked the vision sensors of you body and motion plate will do the other one such as feel of G force, and combined them, we will be the place.
and when we play games like war thunders with our friends it will just like we are fighting together.
I'm hesitating whether to buy an oculus DKII...I want to try the performence. but I'm sooooo poor in the Computer programing...

Thank you for you replies. they really helps me alot.

Sorry for my poor english...even they have been helped by google

Better to wait for consumer VR, it is not that far off and will be significantly better than the DK2.
