I will give this a try as well. The way it looks now (fresh install, just turned off post-processing) it is almost unplayable. Hard to see more than about a 100 meters, it is just to "blurry" / low resolution

It makes a difference for sure (if yr card can handle it)..My 970 doesn't want to go higher as 1.2..

Gone back to triples for now, hopefully in 2 days with the 1080 otherwise I'm gonna re-sell it.

    It is that heavy?
I currently run it on one 970 myself.
But I have 2 970's, used to run them in SLI, guess I need to try and see if SLI works in VR/Oculus.

VR SLI is still some way off for now, so stick to a single card.

I use 2.0 with one 970 and always have 75fps (just a few less in races' start with 16 opponents) with anisotropic@4x
you should lower other values that with VR are anyway useless (high reflections, world detail...)
if you see it blurry you probably have pp on. You also have to disable AA

And you can read the 100mtr mark @ 200mtr..? PP on or off, both are blurry but with pp on it looks better IMO.

If it looks better for you with post processing ON, you have some settings problem. Everyone, included me, with PP on have it really blurry, while with PP off it's really crisp, maybe even more than pCars.
take a look at this guide

Edit: for sure it looks better than with the previous 0.5/0.6 runtime

Tried it too, better...But no solid framerate, dips below 70 and therefore unusable to me..

Haven't seen shipping conformation yet, where's my 1080..!!??

I've used it for quite some time and it really makes a difference in a "static" simulator.
    Good app.

At first a didn´t believe but comparing is a real advance in realism. Seeing this video is easy to know why. First watch the bottom rigth part and then watch the upper left video. Even without a motion sim the game comes closer to the real thing.

I personally didn't like it with motion, never tried it Static. But im sure if you get used to it, you could enjoy it.
