Thank you! It's better to ask before break everything. Today i take the ultimate test for my sim. We have little gameday with couple of friends (about 20-30). We play NHL 16 take some liquid... and i take sim with me. If that works after tomorrow when theres no designated drivers to drive home then i believe it's solid. Fingers crossed

After 12 hours of almost continuous driving the sim is still ok. I check motors and they get little hot but not too much. Yesterday i get sim back home and try Dirt rally finland stages with oculus dk1 and it was amazing. The dk1 had so poor screen quality but still it feel so great when you drive with rear wheel broken and try to stay on the road same time looking half the time side window because car refuse to go straight.

Another long session over. 6 hours continuous driving and everything is ok. I put few 100mm fan to cooling motors and they work fine. motors not warm at all but noise for the fan is now disturbing. Maybe i put some bigger fan and lower voltage for those.

Anyone comment on how steep you have that angle from motor to shoulder mount?

15 deg out to side, 30 deg back, I think, but less will work depending on design.

I dont think hes anywhere near that though especially with the vertical angle of the rods and the reclined neutral position of that seat

Agreed Shannon They appear to be backwards to a point....definitely not ideal.

I just looked at the photo again. Yes. Not enough angle. And im going to take a guess its not balanced right as well. The pivot looks to be on a good spot for a seat mover. Not a full frame.
Also the wipers may struggle with the whole set up. Might be time to look at bigger motors

i forget to send pictures after i installed new motors. The left wiper motor shaft was installed wrong way because it has differend speed in counter clockwise. Now with my better motors the shafts are backside Pivot point is optimised for my weight about 85kg and seat could move 100+kg with no problem but maybe its time to recheck it. I think the bigger problem for heating is that motors are in box.

Im bettin gthe motors are hot because its not balanced and they are always pushin and never at a resting state with gravity holding you somewhat balanced on the seat post.

I weight 240lbs. I use JRKS and without fans have no issues. I have a full steel seat frame and a racing bucket so much heavier then what I see in your picture and I have super agresssive profiles with lots of heave and play a lot of dirt rally
