    Hi mohawk24,

The bigger end would be the drive end as it will have a larger bearing on it, the smaller end most likely had a fan mounted on it.

    Regards Senetor.

I'd highly recommend to use the end which is close to the flange!

Btw, I guess you may have forgotten another thing. You need a reduction! The motor has not enough torque to move your platfrom without transmission. You need either a gearhead motor, or you have to connect a gearbox to your motors.

4.5Nm are ~450g/meter -> ~450g connected to the end of a 1m leaver. Not that much...

    I'd propose a 30-60:1 reduction.

    Regards

Hi ego yes i have a 70:1 gear reducer.....

that is why i asked the question about the shaft as only one end of the motor will fit in the reducer....

bearing size on one end is 205 other end is 203 if this is millimeters then that is pretty minimal i would think....

    Hi Mohawk24,

That looks like a very nice sim project you are working on. Have you completed it yet? Would like to see some vids. I am also a fellow Canadian. Where are you located :).

New pictures coming soon, finishing base and mounting of motors and control arms...

I need some help now...looking for the latest, greatest list, diagrams and instructions for Tronics AMC hardware to control AC motors...

Tronic if you could chime in and help me out that would be great....

Also would be better if i could find an electronics expert that would assemble a complete board for me and i could pay them...instead of my fat fingers making a mess of it....LOL

any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Problem mit Input-Reference

    Hallo zusammen!!

    Andi
