    Though significantly more leverage than V1 which had the motors connecting at the rear of the seat base.

    Do you mean because of the angles? I lost some cm because of the tie rod's end lenght and some other because I didn't want to redo holes and wirings (yeah, sometimes I'm lazy).

    Anyway is funnier now, A LOT less noiser, motors don't overheat anymore (so I pushed PID from 500 to 600 with no problem)

    I'll try to shoot a video tomorrow, I was redoing tuning center settings and stilll playing with arm's angle (I'm at about 80° now)

    Looks clean and compact :thumbs. If movements are kept small in sway, it should be OK.

    Yes i do mean the angles, and for Sheer reference, this is more along the lines of what you want for the Most efficient setup.

    Movements are kept small in sway and I GOT RID of roll! Yeah, really. After about an year I realized that sway/roll don't give me all that immersion as surge & heave do.
    maybe it's just my seat mover that's not capable to transmit me an accurate feeling

    I think the problem is, Most set Pitch and roll to be WAY too aggressive and essentially be 1 Big FAST movement which isn't correct.

    Having NO roll is not a wise idea imo, as Touching kerbs (Nordschlife) will give you No movement, Remember some of those kerbs are 8-10" tall....if you dont think you'll get a MASSIVE SHUNT from rolling a tire up on those kerbs , Your sadly mistaken. Also Pitch is something that should be very Linear, And again most set it too high to "Feel it more" when in reality its working Just fine but not really that noticeable over the other more pronounced effects like heave, sway, and surge. Oh i see you said Sway not Pitch, well same deal, Sway needs to be a Nice linear movement, Not a Super Jerky (move the wheel 2 degrees and the seat goes to MIN/MAX.) type of movement.

    Spent some time yesterday with tuning center. I'm fine now with pitch/roll at about 10% each. I'm super aggressive with surge (60% and +1.5 -2.5) cause I really like feeling acceleration and gear change. Still working on sway, as you said, to have a linear progressive movement

    As you can see I also took the time to configure the 2-colors 2-modules TM1638. The leds lit from the center to sides first in greenn then - keeping the green on - in red. Should anyone care I'd post the Arduino code.
    Also, if someone wants to suggest some pattern to lit leds, I'd appreciate it

    Dude that looks awesome. I wish i had a place to put one of those, Height relation from my wheel to screen wont allow me to tuck it between the wheel and below the screen, there's just no room for it.


    can u give a break down on which 1638's you used ? as far as i can see there's 3 different 1638's

    I used these ones before. They got just one light (red) per led and are way smaller.

    yupp it sure looked small when i pulled it out of the package. Thinking to myself....."hrmm what will i do with this now....." oh well 3$ well spend on a lesson learned.

    This is what I'm planning to do with those small ones:
    I'll use numbers for lap times and leds for showing the gap from best time, or the lap number/race position
    I got two new arduinos on their way...

    Thinking about it, a two colors module would fit better my idea 'cause I'd use increasing green leds for showing better times and vice-versa red leds for worse times. One led for each 10 cents of gap

    I own a GTX670 SLI combo as well and I am running triples and 3DVision. If you can make a snatch f.eg. an occasion but hardly used it is worth the money IMO.

    Lol i keep forgetting to edit that, Im down to a single 670 now as one failed on me, But when it was working i got Double the FPS on Assetto with rather high setting's and running the "Natural PP filter" As far as power and noise, I didn't notice it at all. I will be upgrading at some point, But most likely will go with a Single High powered card VS a SLI setup. With Occulus on the horizon and Noorbeast saying SLI is an issue, I dont think i want to deal with those headaches, So ill just go with a 980 or something similar.
