Have you un-patched and re-patched the game? Just drag'n'dropping the zip-file to the Plugin-Updater is not enough.

Please delete C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\DiRT 4\hardwaresettings\cfg.BAK. Unpatch the game.
    Run Dirt4 once.
    Stop the game.
    Patch it.
    Restart the game and enjoy.

    Hello all,

I´ve tried this plugin on Dirt4, and I can feel it shake yes, but you cant barely see actuators move, you cant feel roll or picth, just a constant shaking sensation.

Doing something wrong? Or is supose to be like that? In Assetto Corsa, PCars2, Raceroom, works fine.

I got a 2DOF Prosimu T1000 system and would like to have a move agressive plugin.

    Thanks.

There are dedicated threads for commercial sim questions and support: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/commercial-simulators-and-peripherie.52/

Along with a dedicated commercial Pro license support thread, so please use those instead of general threads when seeking support: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/simtools-pro-entertainment-version.176/

With respect to your question you need to refine the motion profile, here are the steps to follow: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

I have tried this plugin many times before, but when I entered the game, I felt that the seat was shaking strangely. My steering wheel operation did not produce the correct action that should be there. It was just a strange shaking, I almost had to give up. This plugin is, and the plugins for other games are very good.

In particular, when I am patching this plugin, it prompts me that the last folder in the installation path is DIRT RALLY instead of DIRT 4. Why is that? Where am I doing something wrong?

For Codemaster games the patch path differs, depending on the computer being 64 or 32bit: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-32-bit-install-path-for-motion-patching.260/

You should try refining the motion profile, doing one axis at a time, see here for details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

I've just installed win 10 build 1809 fresh install not update from the 1803 previous build. This plugin (2.0.15) is now not working even though it did in 1803, anyone done a clean install win10 1809 got it too work?

My other question is can/should simtools be running whilst dirt 4 (or any other game) is unpatched for running it once before patching it for the 1st time or should a game engine & manager be shutdown?

The newer 2.1.1.0 plugin is giving the game manager error that user doctor-kruntz and others are reporting at that link so thats not a solution.

Codemaster games have to be run before they are patched, as that generates required files.

You can unpatch from within SimTools while it is running.

Close SimTools Game Engine and Game Manager when installing a plugin with the Plugin Updater app.

DIRT 4 is a game that I have not successfully run so far. I don't know where the problem is, so I come to ask for help again.

I use the plugin version 2.0.1.5, import it into Pluginupdater, then open Gamemanager. When I click on the patch, it prompts me the path. My computer is WIN10 64 bit, I think it should be placed in: document \My Games\ Dirt 4, when I did this, a dialog box with an IP address popped up, and it shows that the installation is complete.

Then I turned on Steam and entered the game. The seat had some strange movements, like shaking, and sometimes it was not, it was not an accurate movement.

I tried to delete the patch, deleted the relevant files in the document, and tried it again several times. It is still the same. I might have tried other versions of the plugin, but it is still the same.

The same situation did not happen in the two games DR and DR2.0, their operation is very perfect. So I want to ask, is there anyone who knows the problem I am having, or can give me some advice, thank you for your reply.
