    With Codemaster games the patch path varies depending on you having a 32 or 64bit version of Windows: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-32-bit-install-path-for-motion-patching.260/

    If the virtual axis output shows inverted output for sway, is the problem in the plugin or my setup? From what I read in the manual: a turn to right should swing the virtual sway axis to the left.
    It goes to the right it seems, maybe I should test again to make sure because it was really late last night, but I'm pretty it sure about what I saw.

    Hey guys, revisiting Dirt Rally again, All is working good with exception when I put it all together...
    Motion now works great, Sim Vibe Works great, just not together.
    Anyone figured out how to get them working both at the same time?

    Thanks

    So... after playing with a bunch of settings, I finally got Dirt Rally working with Sim Tools, Sim Commander (SimVibe) and all my Fanatec gear as well as my DSD box.
    I edited the "hardware_settings_config.xml" by adding the line under the "dbox" line to define multiply ports so the telem data would go where it is supposed to go...
    <motion_platform>
    <dbox enabled="false" />
    <udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="10001" delay="1" />
    <udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="4123" delay="1" />
    <fanatec enabled="true" pedalVibrationScale="1.0" wheelVibrationScale="1.0" ledTrueForGearsFalseForSpeed="true" />
    </motion_platform>

    I believe the plugin is tested against the Steam version, as that caters to PC, Rift and Vive users.

    If the Oculus Home version is identical then the plugin should work. But if it is altered in any way then the plugin may not work.

    If you or someone else has Dirty Rally on Oculus Home then the best thing to do is try it and report back.

    It is a customer who has the problem. I'm going to make sure and I'll comment on it here.
    Meanwhile if anyone has tried it, please tell me if it works for them.

    Thank.

    You have not given much detail but just so you know the plugin patch path is different depending on Windows being 32 or 64bit: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-32-bit-install-path-for-motion-patching.260/

    Can you please verify which you have and if it is patched correctly.

    I have a 64bit and the plugin patch it's ok. I drive in the full screen mode. If all the dof are "on" the movements are crazy. If i turn "off" heave sway and surge it's ok, pitch and roll works perfectly ! I have seen that other members have the same problem.

    Try using the "Boundary" filter.

    Yes it does, but if you ever add additional programs, like SimVibe, it becomes problematic launching to Oculus home trough sim commander.
    I use the Steam version which IMO just works better and is more flexible.

    Ciao Brett,
    thanks so much.
    So if I well understand, it's better that I don't install oculus home but I've to use SteamVR! is it ?

    Thanks again, Max
