That usually happens if your car is too low for the track.

Click on garage then flick through the pages and you will see what failed flashing in red, if it is ride height then it is on the chassis page and it will be flashing saying too high or too low. After that click the "Failed" button on the right and it will run the simulation again and it should change to passed.

There are some built in setups that you could try.

You could also try the iRacing forums http://members.iracing.com/jforum/forums/show/622.page

SimTools runs fine with Win 10.

Can you confirm that you completely closed down SimTools, right clicked on the launch icons and chose to run as Administrator.

I can't see the full folder you are trying to patch to in the image. Is that the actual game install folder for iRacing that contains the iRacing executable?

You need to pick your game folder not the one under "My Documents"

So for me I use "C:\Program Files (x86)\iRacing"

If you have installed it in a different folder then you want to pick the folder that has the iRacing EXE files in it, not the settings folder under my docs.

Everyone, the motors are Awesome! I Started with 20% and they were so shaky that i had to drop then to 7% this is more manageable also the 5k potentiometer work great! i will take pictures soon.

Thank you all for all your help!

    Best wishes.

I am just wondering about few observations on the Software, for same reason when I start the game the seat shakes! a few times and then stops with out me moving the car.

    is this normal?

Also is there a manual for the software? I am trying to learn what each Axis do? Surge, Sway, Roll, Yaw, Pitch, Heavy.

The reason I am asking is because I notice I do not feel the gravity change on turns, also the grass or gravel.

    let me know?

It could be depending on the game and interface settings.

it does it when I go to the Pit after a crash or just simply when I start the race again.

so the Game send the signal to the Axis to shake? or maybe that is how it calibrates?

you are correct! I just absorb the car, when I start the game or I get a new car I notice in the screen the car does shake also so it is doing what the game is doing.

    Thanks.

The Startup-Output in the SimTools game engine defines the initial sim position when started, but if the game has the car anywhere else and sends data accordingly then the sim will move.

Sway will make you feel like you are going around a corner, it actually moves the seat away from the direction of the corner.

Surge feels like acceleration and braking.

    Heave is for bumps.

Pitch is up and down hills.

Roll is for things like curbs and embankments and is opposite of sway.

When creating a motion profile you set them up one by one and then mix them together and tweak the results: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/
