    Big Question!

    Hello everyone!
This is a big question for everyone and i am sure that someone else already brought this up before, as you know I am still new in this hobby I consider myself a rookie I am getting acquainted with the SimTools software and I notices some deficiencies and some of you provably already resolved them:

    So here is:
In Tuning Center we can only save one Setting Per Game and i notice that the Game Limits Max/Min are complete different for each car and each track so my problem is that i will capture the Max/Min for the Skip Barber at Laguna Seca and save it and then change track to let say to Suzaka Racing Course and the Max/Min will be wrong because the Laguna seca track is different!

Now let’s throw another scenario what about if i change “cars” per example the Audi R8! Now the Max/Min from the Skip Barber will not applied and all will be wrong again!

In Game Engine, we have presets and we can save preset per game and per car and per track creating a huge preset list not well organize but the Tunig parameters are still set for the Skip barber and all the percent setting will only applied to the skip barber car!

So the question I have is: is there a third party software that can manage all those Setting and parameters and preset better?

    in Advance thank you...
    Best,
    Milton

Most likely due to the fact your Inner ear is Telling you Something is wrong. Traction loss with a Proper Axis of rotation doesn't feel like a Distraction when set properly.....Sorry to say but As we suggested before your setup isn't exactly ideal.

PS you haven't really "lost traction" once in your video in the R8....at least not at pace, You spun out once being Aggressive on a Kerb and no correction it seemed....I also see Many incidences of you Turning the wheel to XX degrees of lock and guess what the Traction loss kicks out, But IN game the car is Rock Solid due to being a Big ol GT car with Slicks and a Monster wing out back.........MORE Axis % and a Bigger Tuning center Value is Required. Why build all that mechanical axis percentage into the rig and Not use it.

Thinking about it now, I would take off Traction loss from the 3rd axis, disable sway on your Seat axis and push Sway over to the 3rd axis, What you built is a mini Sway table when looking at it from above and might give a more immersive feeling.

Why on earth do you think i would be offering this much help without the ACTUAL knowledge of what im talking about.

Sorry i do appreciate all your help, the reason i am asking is i was wondering if you could post a video of when the car is lossing traction? I do not want to give up on settting traction loss.

ok Not that this was a Traction loss demo video or anything, but this should show you that with 8" Overall travel in my TL axis i can go 150+km/h Add a Bunch of Steering Lock and NOT have the traction loss kick out in a fake manor that would Fool the inner ear into actually thinking the car is loosing traction. the 2nd time up Eau rouge the rear started to step out Yes and i corrected it. the rest of the video is self explanatory

PS the car in question is a 1400hp Koenigsegg One:1 with the traction control turned off after the warm up lap

PPS this is also a Beta version from Back in the day and is somewhat drastically different in a couple factors.

This is a good example of traction loss. The RUF is displaying a variable range of traction loss from 0% to 100%, your traction loss motor should be able to move the rear end of your rig enough to simulate this movement but at a much lessor actual distance moved. Enough to trick the mind is good, but all on or all off doesn't really do much to trick the mind.

No, it is just a video that I found to illustrate traction loss.

Seen it....Not all that impressed to be honest. Its Cool and all, But Lots of distracting light and a few thing's that i would personally do different. Not to mention the completely goofy audio setup with all the amps and pointless speakers. lots of $$ spend that could have been used much better else where imo.

I found this video in youtube the sim rig has TL and I see the TL move left and right when exiting the pit and when driving on conners is that traction loss? or he also has the TL limits wrong?

First video he's in a Little F3 type of car, so not that it wont go sideways, but wont want to as much as say the 2nd video in the Ruf, Which i Can tell is later on in Sim life for the owner without even looking at video dates. Bigger screens' a new wheel and MUCH better profile tuning......the first video is Too sensitive on the TL imo. The 2nd video is much better and displays some of the lift off over steer moments as well as Big Loud pedal moments running the slippery kerbs. YES there will always be a few moments in the drive where the TL might kick in at the wrong time, but overall thats just bacause you went into the said corner that much harder and used That much more steering lock causing the rear "data" to get a little bigger than maybe ideally you'd like to see.
