Question... everything seems to work(Odesc 4.2 and FF beast). But....
One problem I have, is that when with no game, just on power...when I turn the wheel from left to right and let it loose it moves very aggressive to 1 side.and keeps spinning...what to do about this? Also when I keep turning it..suddenly it speeds up to that direction

    thanx!! :)

And the wheel is 100%... very impressed by the force and speed.
Only thing is that I cannot get Rfactor 2 working.... steering and pedals are working, force is not working.
I tried all things (remove Json files, set FFB positive and negative)...
So anyone the golden tip...or can share their 2 .Json files?

Set what up, the mmos unit? You do it in the setup menu.

One question mark per question is enough!

Pretty sure EMC supports it, openffb I have not worked with at all but that is a motor driver too right? I don’t see the issue. Do you need something that works with absolutely everything or something that works?
Do you have the hardware already?

I’d use the odrive since you don’t have to get any extra mcu like with EMC, mmos or other solutions. The driver board is expensive, but in the end it’s cheaper.

    Try the https://ffbeast.github.io/

Compact solution. You shouldn’t need an stlink to flash the board, usb and dfu mode should do it

Everything runs on the odesc, but you have to flash it with a custom firmware and get a licence key from the author.

For activating the FFBeast unit after you flashed it. It's not necessary though if you don't need to add buttons and stuff.

The motor wires can be connected in any way you want.
The encoder is connected to 5V, gnd, A & B (leave Z free)
The resistor to the AUX port

    That's pretty much it.

So connecting arduino is not needed? i only need to flash firmware to odesc v4.2 with stm32cubeprogrammer and it should work after wiring done?
