You forgot the price for the two motors. If you're using common wiper motors, you should have them for 30€ each on the bay.

I try to upload more photos this week-end.
The main idea to save money is to use the articulations from the wiper motors.

Hi Martoul and thanks for sharing your project, it's seems very funny and doable for me, so that I would like to try it by myself...
Could you please update the links for the monster moto and the potentiometers FCP22E, because they are dead and I don't want to command the wrong ones?
Also, could you point me an alimention on AliExpress as I want to group my command (and I don't have an account on Amazon)?
Anyway, thanks again and in advance.
    Stan.

Hello, I'm also a beginner so I'm not sure of the following informations.
I think, you can buy any moto monster with 2 VNH2SP30 :

    and any potentiometers FCP22E 10K ohm :

Few people suggest me to fix the pedals on the moving platform for more realism.
It's a good ideal but I want to do it very simple and cheap.
I also want to avoid to move the wood board (indicated in blue) because there are already a lot of screws through it to fix the motors and the cardan.

The idea is to fix 2 metal L profiles (in red) + 2 wood boards (in green) + 2 wood boards (in pink).

    Do you have easier/cheaper ideas?

I give the picture if you want do draw something :

    My remarks :
    - power supply input is 220V. Is it ok with your country?
    - FCP22E looks OK
    - arduino looks OK. You will need a USB cable for PC connection (see below picture)
    - moto monster looks OK.

I'm from France too, so everything seems good, I'm gonna go for it, the picture of the full process seems very clear (thanks for it)...
As I also wanted to start a project of wind simulator (like Avenga76 did), I'll see which one I'll start at first
Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks again Martoul

ça à l'air bon pour ta liste
pour les simulation auto, je ne mettrais pas les pédales mobiles
si tu fais des simulation aériennes, par contre, c'est bon

It looks good for your list
For auto simulations, I would not put the mobile pedals
If you do aerial simulations, on the other hand, it's good
