Hey @bsft, I was just wondering if there is anymore progress to report on this project lately? It's always looked like a good one!

@BlazinH , I sent the parts to @eaorobbie across the other side of the country. I do not have the tools nor the skill to put them together. He is getting to them as he has time.
maybe another few weeks they may be ready.

i'm sorry i was looking at the video that seattime posted....
im looking for design ideas for my friends and my simulator. we use wiper motor but we are a bit skeptical if they will work because a few of our friends also want to ride the sim so the center of gravity will change and the load on the motors will change....

that will depend on the design you have in mind, if you wish to start a new thread and post up ideas, we can help.
Ive been through 11 designs or more so I have a reasonable idea about what works with different weight people playing.

before i open a new thread i have to do some homework ;) so i'm browsing the forum for experienced members posting their ideas :) i saw the pictures of your design but i didn't really see how your actuators work. are your actuators finished?

Woow nice.... How much should this beauties cost if you buy them from a comparable out of the shelf actuator?

about 1/2 the price and more than twice the power if built on your own.
I suspect the actuators I was given would be the ultimate, but at $2500 each genuine or $800 each less motor Chinese copy, they are still not cheap.
