    Honestly if you check the price of LCD based 3d printers on Ali express now its cheaper to buy one:

    if you want to learn whats make them work then id buy one of those cheap units and just strip it apart.
    There not much to them, LCD screen, linear rail, UV light source and driver board/software

    Its not easy to DIY a good UV array with uniform light output so again probably better to buy offshelf.

    I upgraded to one of these now as needed very high accuracy and reliability for work purposes but it wasn't exactly home consumer budget (bloody great printer though!)
