can any body tell me the value ranges for the DOFs from elite ?
I want to catch the values with CheatEngine, but i dont have any idea what i've to looking for

are there float values or 4 bytes values ?
    which ranges ? -127 to +127 ? or maybe -32768 to +32768 for the DOFs ?

It's too bad too, because they're simulating an entire futuristic version of our galaxy. It would be nice to have API hooks to make all kinds of things- motion sims, light-up panels and such for people not into VR, you name it... Feeling impacts when shot at, thumps from landing... They're missing out on some amazing PR (e.g. youtube videos, etc) for their game at the very least :)

Thanks for keeping this updated @SilentChill.
All works great. I do get some erratic movement in supercruise. Only once I've been supercruising for a while.
I might have to redo the min max file thingy for my set up.

    Hi @Imeleon

I've the same sporadic movements in super cruise between planets some times.

1st I thought it is a bug in my motion seat firmware , but this comes from the sim-tools maybe they forward these data from Elite.

Could also be possible that the movements are correct because the movements are in a certain way synchronized with sound . Maybe there's some areas between planets with gravitation irregularties/storms and that's the reason for the unexpected movements.

    Hi there!

Is the newest plugin will work for Horizons 2.2 also?

    Cheers,

    Bordiin,

I had the same issue as you have, I finally solved the problem.
    Take care about the followings:

    1.
You have to set the game engine and game manager running in admin mode, -I suggest you give admin rights to installer also-, just right click on the icons, compatibility, then click on running as admin.
Be sure about if you moved the shortcuts to your desktop, it has to made by 'make a shortcut to the desktop', not just drag and drop to your desktop.
It will only work in win7/64 if you get the message at starting the programs 'you are running in admin mode.' Thats good.

    2.
Be sure that you have set the real directory of the game. If you have installed by steam, it should looks like, Program Files (x86)/steam/SteamApps/common/products/elite-dangerous-64/
The most important to find elite directory, called:/elite-dangerous-64/

By the way you can set manually your path in win7 at:
    C:\Users\*yourname*\AppData\Local\SimTools\GameManager\GamePathSaves\elitedangerous64.cfg

    It has to be working!

    Cheers,
    George

    Bordiin,

Another thought: If you run updater in admin mode, just drag and drop the zipped file into the updater, has to be workin!

    Hi @SilentChill,

Tomorrow we get the next update for ED, should the current plugin will work for the upgraded ED version also?

    Regards,
    George
